hello all
I have 2 questions about JTL, may be they have been asked before, so please bear with me.
1. Will the system requirements be that same as for the existing game, namely CPU speed and RAM size?
2. Will mastering a pilot profession draw skill points from the main 250 point pool , or will it be set up so that each player will also be able to master one space profession in addition to the original pool.
Thanks for your time.

The system requirements are yet to be released to the public. I'm NOT sure the Devs even know yet.
And the skill points used in the space expansion will be drawn from a skill pool seperate from the ground game pool.

I would think that the requirements would be a higher then the regular game. The extra additions of information with joysticks and an actual Z axis. My guess on the requirements would be probably a 1.0ghz for the low end and a 1.4ghz for the high end

Early reports would suggest that the reqs will be the same, as there is actually less to render, and most will find that their computer performs better in space.

Again, while it has not been set in stone, it has been suggested that there will be an alternate experience and skill point progress for the pilot professions. Also you can not be a Privateer (Neutral pilot) and a factional pilot at the same time, so choose carefully.
Thanks for your time.
No problem.

uhhh, how many people in the game use joysticks instead of a mouse for movement in the game right now? Like nobody? Sowhat Isaid before with the addition of the joystick, and thethe 3d axis as well.A lot of expansion now have higher requirements then the original. Dark Age is abig example of this

1. Is it considered greifing or harrassment for someone to attack me while i have feigned death?
2. Is it an exploit to use a powerup during slicing?

As far as I know...
#1 - Nope
#2 - I'd be careful, not sure if its been stated by a DEV, but that type of slicing is "not good" If your attempting to double slice a weapon or armor, then YES, it is a bannable offense. A while back alot of paaps were banned for this reason

1. - No it is not griefing.
2. - Yes it is an exploit. Game mechanics SPECIFICALLY make you remove powerups before slicing. Adding one during the process of slicing is just a way to work around that, and is considered exploiting.
