Now this would bring alot more into space, motley crews of Ties, Y-wings, and Hutts scrounged together duking it out in the vacume of space...

Guild wars are very useful for roleplaying groups who don't want to have to /duel everytime a fight break outs.

I agree - as another Starsider RP'er, Guild Wars have been great for fighting without the need for duels but also for things like the Bounty Hunter guild system that I've been a part of.
I hope this is an oversight that will be fixed, because there's no reason not to allow this to cross over from the ground game!

I was truly disheartened to see that GW flags do NOT carry over into space....this is something that needs altered ASAP...it's very disturbing to see a member I can freely attack on the ground at any time...un attackable in space. Letting GW flags carry over into space is a good way for getting some of the lesser able combatants involved. We've got several people on both sidesthat are primarily crafters...and as such we've instituted a non-buffed= non-attackable policy for our conflict.
Getting these individuals involved in space combat would be ideal.
PLEASE allow us to freely attack a guild enemy in space.

I see that as one of the fundamental components of Jump to Lightspeed, and am somewhat shocked that it is not included. I understand the desire to regulate PvP, but a Guild War is a completely voluntary system to begin with, and unlike simple factioning, is something people have to go OUT OF THEIR WAY to arrange.

Pvp in general on JTL is lacking. Content I can wait on but there's so many teir 3/4/master pilots out there that want to rumble touse the old term.
