Thread: Only Petition that matters....Guild War flags...in space

what the heck is a guild war? lol, I was in one of those once, it diddent do anything, I assumed they just removed it, how strange
btw, saying this is the only petition that maters is not only ignorant, but self centerd and just plain wrong.
Id also like to add that if they DID carry over, youd be screwed, and your chassis distroyed the first time you go into space. Why? Well, youd die, and their buddy waiting at the station would kill you, over, and over, and over again. There would be no salvation from this death.
Id consider yourselvs lucky they diddent include it, it has the HIGHEST potential to grief ever
First of all, don't make fun of customers, I don't like it. This man has a point in wanting certain things to coincide between the ground game and the space game, and guild wars is one of them.
Secondly, if you really wanted to blast his petition you could have chosen something more solid than griefing, because although it occurs in guild wars just because people are like that, it is a very low percent because guild wars are accepted on both ends and if one end ends the war then well the war stops. Griefing just leads to an ended war, and a bad aura around your guild, and thus no one else will guild war you because you use cheap tactics. So griefing is the lowest of issues when it comes to guild wars in my opinion.
Thirdly, if you don't know what a guild war is, how in hell did you participate in one once? And why would you assume that they removed something just because you personally couldn't see what it was all about. Just in case you are still wondering what a guild war is: Two guilds use their guild terminal to declare war on eachother, thus giving a TEF to all members of the opposing guild. This system is used more in my opinion to fight the GCW than actually going overt and wandering around, and has a much more public appeal usually. So that is what a guild war is.
Lastly, a title is used as a catchy phrase or series of words to grab the attention of others in order to get them to read the rest of your post. If your post is long, a catchy intro may also be used. Wildcard uses this title, because he feels strongly about this situation and knows other people also feel the same way. Although stating that this is the only petition that matters may seem a bit cocky to you, in my opinion it is a creative way of getting attention, which is usually something he is quite good at.

Yes that very well maybe, but in the end it did get you to visit and listen to my thoughts...even if you don't agree with them, that's your choice too.
Yes Guildwars open you up to the possiblilty of extreme grief....Load Camping, Clone Camping...even Space camping...all distinct possibilities...but when a war is on between two mature and friendly guilds, it can be great fun within the confines of self policing...

yeah, this is an amendment we add later in the day...they felt bad about attacking you...it's been a learning expierence so far...but ultimately it's been fun...or at least I hope it's been fun

Really? I wasn't buffed at Nym's, or at the keyboard for that matter, but I still got killed.
Just sayin...
k.
I like the new angle in the game with the guildwar, but of course there are going to be bumps on the road. Luckily we got situations like this ironed out early. Unbuffed = hands off seems fair to me, I mean this is really for fun, and wasting someone who's unbuffed in 3 hits doesn't tend to be fun, ya know?
and gall dernit I want guild wars in space, still aghast that this isn't the case. Who's in charge around here? Unless we get word soon, my theory of 10,000 monkeys at 10,000 typewriters still applies. How can they never have thought about guild wars in space. That's completely lame.
This is extremely important, especially for Rebel/Imperial Guilds that want to war eachother, without having to have everyone go Overt in space and then have the possibility of having well-meaning members of each faction or just complete total wankers join on in and 'ruin' a planned, scheduled and committed Guildware meetup in space.
