I'm sorry (no flame meant on you here) but if they made a ship immobile, wouldn't that defeat the purpose? The point of all of those capital ships was for the transportation and defense of armies to different planets as well as actual combat between other ships. So making one immobile just doesn't make sense in my mind. Besides, it would be really cool to get every Imperial and rebel on you server together for one huge fleet battle!
Every Imperial and Rebel on the server might be enough for two capital ships.

btw for the people who are saying its too hard, dont you think adding a twichted style game to a fully RPG game is hard in itself, prob alot harder then adding a capital ship...if they are pulling this off (which no one has b4) whats to stop them from makeing capital ships...just a thought

SOE already has two games which are MMP "twitch games" Planetside and it's father Tanarus. I'd be surprised if parts ofthe code from those games isn't being used in the expansion. So in essence JtL is the 3rd generation of SOE's MMP twitch engine.
What I read into the problems they stated with Capital ships is that it takes a while to model both the outside and insides of the ships, and that's where the major delay was. Don't be surprised, if/when player owned capital ships are ready,if they're limited to Nebulon-B Class Frigate sized ships and smaller.

Ummm.. no. Firstly SSDs should NOT be player controlled. Period. They kick butt, yes. But it would totally out of continuity to have every PA with 50+ members running around in one. Now an ISD is believable for about a PA with 75-100 people. No less.
it should only be Victory class Star Destroyers, theyre old. Theyre capital ships. Theyre small, and take less men to man. But, im agaisnt capital ships for players only.
