Primary defenses (ie, Ranged Defense and Melee Defense) and State Defenses (ie, Defense vs Knockdown) will always stack across all professions regardless of what weapon (or unarmed style) you have equipped. Secondary Defenses such as Dodge, Counterattack, and Block will stack across like professions (ie, the ones who get that kind of defense), but will only be "active" when you have the appropriate weapon equipped. For example, Pistoleers and Fencers both get a + Dodge defense. Between Pistoleer and Fencer you can stack those bonuses to the cap (which is +125). However, say for instance your template was Pistoleer/Fencer/Carbineer. You'd have +125 dodge, but it would not work when you have a carbine equipped. However, the cumulative Ranged, Melee, and State defenses would work no matter which weapon you use.
Sounds confusing, but I hope that helps. Basically your Dodge, Counterattack, and Block only work with the appropriate weapon equipped. Every other kind of defense will stack and remain active no matter how you're fighting.

Don't put an item storage module in a surgical droid.

c'mon there is so many little things like that...yeah the surg droid doesnt sell so well with that lack of storage mod, sometimes i sell one with food/chem+med110+droid rpr (heals other droids wounds..) but nothing on my r3 sales.

I have invest. 3 and am trying to do BH missions but the Spy net guy on Kadaara wont talk to me, I have been to both and both say I need to talk to a higher Spy net guy. where is a higher spy net guy?

MSE,DZ70,R5,R4,Treadwell,protocol none of these use cluster (generic or combat)
R3,Adv-Probot,LE rpr Adv these use combat clusters
Surgical,BLL these use generic clusters
it says this in the description of the schematic for parts you use.

Thank you for your time and posts. I successfuly made my firstR2 droidwith a crafting station and storage unit.
Few more questions if someone could help:
1.When i made all the components i got about 10-12 rating on everything i made, but when i view the droid info it says the storage module rating is -12. Is this really correct?
2. I think i saw a post that said that you can only use 1 crafting station per droid. Is this true?
3. With the final experimentation on the assembled droid(3 options), which is the best to experiment on?

Level 6 Item storage modules hold 10 items max. I've never paid any attention to the module rating on mine, and I don't think it really matters. As far as the level 1-4 modules, I can not tell you how many items they store.

This used to be the case, but no longer. You can put every crafting station in a droid and it will work. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this one. The most I put in a droid is 2.

The middle one, it will increase the HAM on the droids. The others don't do anything that I know of.

Question...Why can't you put a storage module in a surgical droid? I have before and never had any complaints...

WHAT I REALLY NEED HELP IS THE STATS ON THE RESOURCES IM NOT SURE IM READING IT RIGHT. MY STUFF IS NOT TURNING OUT VERY GOOD. I DONT SELL IT JUST US IT LOL
