Probably not what you are looking for, but the FAQ has a lot of good information in it (link in my sig). If you are looking for more of a guide of what to hunt and what tactics to use you may be better off just asking opinions, but there are quite a few threads that go into that subject as well.

Personally I liked Endor for my way through Teras Kasi. I fought anything that I ran into and made a lot of xp very quickly.

No longer holding out hope, SWG will never be the game we fought so hard for, that we believed so much in. Farewell friends.

That was weird.

Anyways, what the heck is wrong with my sig???

Why is it getting cut off like that. Is there something you can put at the end to prevent that?

Well since this post ended up being pointless (sorry bout that), I thought I'd share something that popped into my head last night.

I was pondering the buffbot plague. And I kept thinking, "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em."

No, no - I'm not suggesting that we actually buffbot...I mean, I do - but what if our buffbots were really really bad at what they did...what if we planted seeds of distrust with buffbots?

Allow me to explain.

Entertainer buffs can't be overbuffed, right? So, I set up a buffbot macro (with as little spam as possible, mind you) and do the whole routine, ya know, /join and all of that. So playerX groups and starts getting their buff. What if we just very shortly thereafter /stopmusic,say "you're all done! do a /stoplisten for the buff!" and /disband. And then /pause 600 (10 minutes). I would imagine that a lot of combat folks would be like, "oh cool, they buffed me in 30 seconds? no way! that roxxs!" so they /stoplisten and get a 20 minute buff that's exceptionally weak. Oops, bad buffbot. Maybe make an entertainer char on other servers, and only get them up to a low level for buffing. Take their Novice tag off (no tag on em) and advertise the buffbot. They'll get a 2 hour buff for like 15% of their mind/focus/willpower.

Even if they spam for awhile about how the buffbot sucks, they'll scurry off and others will try it and fall victim. If enough live entertainers did it in our spare time, it would become an annoyance not knowing whether the buffbot you find will actually work. Sure, they'd not trust that particular buffbot, but what if others around the galaxy started doing the same - adds an air of mistrust to the "reliable" buffbots. The dedicated might continue to patronize their favorite buffbot who is reliable (so honestly they probably wouldn't come to you anyways), but the new players would learn that macros and player NPC's shouldn't be so blindly trusted...

Incidentally it's probably best not to do this with your main char. you may get some unpleasant emails and it'd be unfortunate to sour your primary character's reputation on your main server. Mind you, I'm not talking about souring your reputation with bad buffbot buffs, I'm talking about souring your reputation as being a buffbot at ALL.

If your reputation gets too widely known that you're a bad buffbot, eh reroll on that server. Can't take long to get Novice Dancer or Musician with just a tad of mind enhancement...heck just get Master again and again. It's fun anyways.

What can I say, macros can be just as tricky as that mysterious buffing system...

I've thought about this, but it just doesn't sit well with me. If people find out that its live entertainers doing this sort of thing, they're just going to hate us more. And while I don't need my ego fed by other players liking me, I don't think that making more of the community hate us is going to help our plight with the devs .
Would be kind of fun to watch'em squirm though.

It's going to depend.

If you have a pet/droid tank then go up CounterSniping until you hit FlushingShot2 at CounterSniping III. Then go up Accuracy. Finish off CounterSniping. And then Concealment.

If you solo. Then go up a couple boxes in Accuracy. Then take Concealment I for ConcealShot. Then go back and finish Accuracy. From there go up CounterSniping until done then finish off Concealment.

Regardless of which you do. As soon as you get the combat XP use it on Rifle Abilities to increase your speed.
