Look on the overhead map for the next trainer. There's also a decent list of pilot trainers in the FAQ.

Are you a pilot and not using Droid Commands?

You have to be outside of any city before you can deploy any probe droids.

Best way to determine that is wait for the following message to appear on your screen, you have now left (name of city).

Travel a few more metres out and your good to go.

You can deploy seeker droids pretty much anywhere

I feel like such a noob, but...

I landed at the Emperors Retreat and I can't find a Starship Terminal. Anyone know where it is please?

Thanks.

You will need to have a player crafted Starship crafting station and of course your crafting tool.

The upgrade is listed in the same part of the tool as the mining lasers themselves.

You craft the upgrade using the resources they require in the window.

Then when crafting the Elite Mining Laser (Y8 only) you add it in the "weapon upgrade" slot.

Quickshot upgrade will increase the firing rate or the Max Damage Intensifier will increase the max dmg.

Hope that helps

Thanks for this. Sort of makes sense when you think about it.
