I'm freelance 1111 I'm doing the smuggler missions for that woman. I'm doing the one where you have to hijack the ship. I take out the tie fighters protecting it and it says disable the engines of the ship, so I do. Then what? I can't dock with it, no mission complete, if I carry on shooting it, it gets destroyed and mission is failed.

I ain't got a clue what to do.

I've been away for 7months, you would of thought they would of sorted stuff like this out by now

I'm pulling my hair out. Says "Shoot the ships engines to disable them", well I'm pretty sure i've done that. Was shooting it from behind, the flames on his engines have gone out, he's dead in the water, yet still nothing.

In some missions, the capture is automatic, but you need to sit still close to it for like 30 seconds before it happens. I'm guessing you're either too far away, or aren't waiting long enough, or both.

If you've targeted the engine subsystem and destroyed it like you've described, then indeed, try just getting closer to the ship. Ease forward and give it a little love tap with your nose, then wait a minute.

How do you target a specific area of a ship?

I've sat on top of its arse for over 1min, while in here typing this and nothing AAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHH, I thought maybe thats, it, maybe you just go back to Tat and tell her, but no. Once I warped into Tat, it canceled the mission.

You'll run into this sort of thing one or two more times with Smuggler's Alliance where capturing a ship simply requires you to sit next to the disabled vessel for a little while.

normaly the default keys are [ ] to cycle subsystems

Currently I'm MLS/Heal 2/0/0/0/Defender 0/0/2/0

My final Template will be MLS/Mdef Heal 3/0/0/0Enh 0/0/0/2

Should I Respec myself to MDef right now instead? Would that be more Beneficial to me for my grinding? The only reason i can think of is because while you are grinding, Damage output is not really an issue. My speed and accuracy will be less, though, and I'm just wondering if it will save my butt when BH'ers come for me.

Anyone have any insight? Please, I really need a good opinion here.

I would take defender 0044, LS 0404, healer 2000, enhancer 0002. (the rest of the respec points you can put in enhancer for FR or healer for improved heals.)

This will give you a good dmg output, good defense (force aura), and a good grinding base.

yeah but then i got two master boxes to grind out..which would be a pain, no?

do mls and defender xx4x.
then you have the defenses you need for grinding and you can make better sabers than x4x4. take healer 2xxx and enhancer xxx2 as next step.

im mls, defender xx4x, healer 414x, enhancer 4xx4. i love this template. i have enough defenses whit force aura up...
