That is the problem. A level 16 should get incapped in one shot by a level 77. It does not have anything to do with the sith. You should think about leveling a lot more before you try to do the village content.

If you are primarily a combat toon:

The FS Village is supposed to be "End Game" content. You need to grind up a lot more skills before taking this on, because the grind you're gonna have to do once you get into the village pretty much requires a Master Elite Proffession to march up the combat related branches. Although if you really want to try it, at least group with someone around CL 80 to get rid of the damage multiplier the Sith have on you now.

If you are primarily a combat toon (explaining the 16 CL):

Get friends to help. Crafters pretty much got shafted by the CU, because higher end mobs eat them alive. The only way you'll get in to the village is by having others kill the Sith for you. Just remember that Jedi is primarily a combat proffession that can be heavy on PvP if you're not careful, so learning some combat skills is advised.

I'm a double elite toon, meaning master pistoleer and master smuggler. I'm level 80 and still having a level 77 and 75 attack me at the same time very nearly caused me to Incap. But I'm lucky in that I have Feign Death.

I would not have been able to survive the initial attack without Feign Death.

I should point out I don't wear quality armor and I have no PSG. My guess is, most characters with very good armor and a PSG can probably survive the Sith Attack without much trouble. But one requirement is being higher level then they are, otherwise there is a damage bonus associated with their attacks on you which will usually cause them to incap you in one or two shots.

I would also like to point out that this is *not* village content. This is pre-village. These are the sith that attack to try and steal the crystal the old man gave you so you can loot the waypoint datapad.

Also, FS was shown to be something that all people should be able to do, regardless of class. I'm only level 31, so the second time this happened to me, I brought friends. Trouble is, I was freaking incapped before I'd even finished zoning! Nobody had time to help me at all. The moment I was incapped, I'd lost the crystal, even though I'd gotten healed and we were able to continue fighting and kill the sith. When I looted the waypoint datapad, it said I couldn't read the message because I didn't have the crystal anymore.

It wasn't village content. It was the first two sith that show up after the old man visited me. I'm not stupid. I know better than to go to the village at the level I am.

Just lost the crystal for the third time - - they came into the house of a vendor I was using - incapped me with one shot - and left

But at lest this time I was lvl 21, as if it matters against lvl 75 and 77.

wait for the old man next to a bank (make sure you are a member of the bank you are stood by so that you can use the safety deposit facility). once he visits you, accept the crystal and put it straight into the bank. this will stop the sith stealing your crystal.

not sure. i never had that problem. i did it pre-CU so it was stupidly easy for me to kill the crappy sith. even if it does then it makes no difference cuz they cant get your crystal
