Well, I've found it difficult to judge as well.


For the basic weapons I've been charging between 500 (cdefs etc) to 4000 (dl44 metals/scout blasters) depending on quality, for 'better' next teir up weapons (czerka carbines, fwg5's) between 10000 to 15000 and for next tier (Power hammers) 20000 but being newly qualified and not having a pricing structure before it's hard to judge the heavy stuff

I always charged using CPU, and I didn't change with the CU

I've been pricing about 20k to 100k for sliced weapons, people are out there selling bases weapons with no slices saying it's uber for 300k to 1mill. Even auctioning these weapons for high prices. The CU isn't even running right and people are already taking advantage of it. Knowledge is power !

p.s. some jerk been spamming coro saying his scatter is the best on the server and 700dps for 5m lol - it turned out to be a 313dps with a pup and he was purposely using mod dps - i think trying to sell items on the trade forums is honest as it gets lots of opinions to stop people getting ripped off

A shame SoE don't run a "item viewer" that you could link to in posts, and let peoplesee exactly what a weapon is from the forums.

I used pre CU non enhanced ABPH on the scatters. I used a resource deed for coriellian decidous wood. Used two resource deeds for ABPH (Ditanium and Phrik). I paid between 3 to 3.5 for all my resource deeds so I based it on 100:1 and I had 2800 in the carbs/rifles with the stock alone.

I just sell the weapons for whatever I can.. But I base my price around 15k for newbie weapons and muh higher for the better weapons I've found that I'm able to sel lthem easily for those prices!

My pricing formula is something like this:



1k per subcomponent + 20cpu final build (+something if loot schem or enhanced) = base weap price


base weap price + 1k per extra pt of dps from slicing = final price




This formula has been working very well for me for many months. My weaps are priced a little higher than adverage for my server (Corbantis which has a reputation for being expensive all around) but I'm a 12pt WS so I feel a small premium is justified. Working with dps to price slicing has made my life much easier.
