No, they are much more fun if pure utter frustration and forced grouping is your idea of a good time

Watch these boards light up over the coming weeks with some VERY pi55ed off people.

Judging only from the last few days of Beta, UKMars may very well be right, unfortunately for all of us. There was a real "Hell Week" where all the tweaks were slammed to "Impossible" levels, and Beta folks were really po'ed. Then the Devs back the sliders down, so to speak, and JtL was actually fun. The last few days of Beta were Hell again. I have no idea what Day One of JtL of live is going to be like - I know it can be fun, and I know it can be very frustrating. The last condition I saw was "frustrating".

Actually, that makes be feel much better about the final release. This shows that the developers are looking at all the possibilities for tweaking the flight model. I'm pretty sure they know the settings they want. They are just moving things to exteremes to test all the "what if" senerios.

Yeah, Rexan, I agree. We were all confused during Hell Week because the Devs didn't explain until afterwards that they were "finding the limits". Once they told us, we felt a lot better. Still, I'm holding my breath in a way, hoping forced grouping doesn't make it in, the ship mass issues are fixed, the NPC imbalances are fixed, the Yacht will be invulnerable, etc. The Devs do know what the "wow, fun!" and "OMFG!" settings are, though, so I still have hope.

"Now with Force Sensitivity!"
