Thread: blacksun ace helmet 1/200 drop rate???? how comes i don't have one after a week of killin.

ignore the word ace it is misleading. It drops off of any kind ofTier 4 Black Sun fighter.

lol add another zero on to 200 and you'll get it. I got one took me a few weeks.. i held on to it for a while it looks awsome! glows and shines in the dark if you look at it at an angle. I sold mine for 20 million.. i needed some cash off hand

Mine dropped after about 3.6mil prestige worth of Black Sun tier 4 duty missions from Nym's Hotel.

i wish we could use these prestige points for more than just to get into deep space.. and uhh kessel..

They only drop off ships named "Black Sun Ace"
Those aren't nearly as common to be able to kill a few thousand in a week. That's a lot of time for just a helmet.

No they don't. They can drop from any tier 4 or (possibly) 5 Black Sun Ships. These ships are the "Ace" class of ships. The only "Aces" I've seen are level 2's. That being said I have my helmet picked up during the RSF duty mission (as I've said) from a Black Sun Marauder.

They spawn: "Black Sun Fighter", "Black Sun Bomber" (both tier 4) and in the 'veteran spawns' "Black Sun Ace" (Tier 5).

Hate to tell ya but you are wrong. There are NO Black Sun Aces that spawn on either of the Privateer Duty missions. The Marauders are from the static spawn in Red Sin Chimaera, that was a mistake on my part. It dropped from a tier 4 fighter. But again THERE ARE NO BLACK SUN ACES ON EITHER PRIVATEER DUTY MISSIONS.

I got one on the Chimaera server, after about 3 hours of killing (And it was a duty mission, so I wasnt even looking for one lol It went for 6 Million too). So it cant be THAT rare, 1/200 chance sounds about right.
