Start an e-mail corrispondence with them, but I couldn't tell you how much that would help you now. Last week if you questioned EB about it they would have overnighted it to you for free like they did for a bunch of people.

I just got home from my local EB where my friend and I pre-ordered JTL. Unfortunately, they didn't have any beta discs in yet. What my question is, is there anyway for us to confirm with Sony that we've pre-ordered so we can get our Speeders? That was one of our main reasons for pre-ordering at all.
I had previously ordered JTL from EB last Monday. Saturday or Sunday I got a call thatI got in my disc. I went to pick it up today and also preorder another copy (I have 2 accounts) and surprise, surprise, the clerk gave me 2 pre order discs.
I'm not sure if those were just extra discs or not (there were 3 there, 1 pre-ordered and 2 others), but I took home 2/3rds of them
. I didn't bother asking. Instead I ran for my car LOL.
Just for a little background info. It was actually an EBX (larger than regular EB's) and probably in one of the busiest malls not only in NY, but the eastern sea coast and probably the US. It's most likely one of the top 3 EB's in NY as far as sales are concerned. That being said they had no clue about the discs until they got them in this weekend.
If you're having issues as far as them not knowing about the discs, pre-ordering but not getting the disc, or anything pertaining the disc, it probably is due to afew reasons. 1) They are dumb.
2) They are taking the discs for themselves to get into beta with the thought that the actual disc that's released at launchwill contain the flash speeder.
3)Due to their sales, store size, whatever, the district office decided NOT to ship them the discs to save them for higher sale stores.
If you feel your local store falls into any or all of the above scenarios I suggest the following. Go into the store tomorrow to pre-order your copy. Inquire about the disc. If they tell you they know nothing about it ask them to search the backroom........please. If they can't find itor worse, won't look for it, ask if they can call their district office to find out about the bonus. If they don't call or refuse to call, ask for their district managers phone number. This will probably provoke them to sweat like pigs before they get gutted
. Having worked in retail for 16 years of my life, the last thing you want to hear is "What's your DM's name and number?".
One last thing to consider. Competition for shelf space. If you notice, most if not all EB's dedicate a ton of shelf space for console games over PC games. Go into these stores and you can't walk a foot without tripping over a Halo 2, GTA San Andreas, etc display. That being the case, employees will spend more time reading up on these launches over something THEY feel is trivial like the JTL expansion. In other words, they just don't know anything about it. Whatever the case, good luck on finding a store knowledgable enough to get you the bonus offer.
