I wouldnt be so furious with this game if my entire progression wasnt based around what other people want. I dont like depending on others in real life, im sure not going to like it in a game. I have earned enough XP allready to be master pilot, but I cant, because of one near impossible mission that I cannot complete simply because people are to stuck up and greedy to aid me. Mission based progression is a dumb idea, no other profession has it besides jedi, and im not sure but a master pilot by far is not a jedi. They are not rare in the Star wars time line, pilots are everywhere. So why are we being treated like we are? I have the xp, I should be a master pilot.

What a joker..I wouldn't help you either. You don't buy friends or help. Most people who are pilots in this game have plenty of money already, so offering them money just makes you look desparate. It's obvious to people that you just seeother playersas a means to an end -your ambition to be a master pilot. I wouldn't help you either because as soon as you get your master, I would probably never see you again.

I love it that players like you can't get this mission done.

Here is a hint smart guy, I am desperate. And I helped others in the past who wont help me now, most of the population I have met are to buys hanging with l33t d00dz like you with there guilds to help random players out. I asked for a hour if anyone would help me out, I asked a person I had helped in the past to help me out, then I resorted to paying for help, none of it worked. So before you type maybe you should get a bit educated on the process I went threw. And quit being such a @$$.

Well, you know, they could do like city of heros did. Make solo missions, and then have group missions. That way people who demand to group, will have mega hard missions that require a group, and those of us who play to have fun by ourselves with interaction with others on our terms in a living environment can have our game also.

People will whine no matter what. If it's too easy, there is no challenge (that would be me ) If it's too hard - well you see what's happening.

You do recall this is a MMORPG, right? A social game, not made to cater just to what you want/feel you deserve.

I want the masters of all classes to be revocked and changed, but I am not going to get that, and I accept that, so just quit whining, and go with it, or quit.

In either case, quit whining.

Man.. you need to grow up. Not everything in life happens on your terms. I honestly don't see why you play MMORPGs. Why don't you go play X wing vs. Tie.. you whining baby. If you don't like it quit!! Good riddance !

k... seems like flame wars on the rise...

what about a different approach?

if there are any eclipse pilots reading this... goddammit just help him doin his mission...
problem solved...

and palad:
open up a thread in your galaxy forum and call for help, mate... and try to rely on others, focus on grouping and i'm sure ya will find that it can be fun... so peeps of eclipse, show this poor soul what MMORPGs should be like, help him and convince me that this server is worth being online and not just full of soloing self-loving ignorants (I'm assuming this can't be, but just want to be sure)

Hummm, why dont I try to socialize in MMORPGs? Why dont I group with others more often? Cause the majority of the people I come across are walking aboritions like this guy. Makes me really want to group with awsome individuals like this around every turn, huzah!

Then that is the problem with the community around you, not the game.

Join a guild, and make friends within it. I gurantee you'll have no problem finding help for your missions.

The real problem is that he doesn't want to make the effort to interact with other players. He likes to play in his own world and interact with other players "on his own terms". In other words, interacting with other players is just a means to and end for this guy. I'm not surprised at all that he has no friends.. who the hell would want to play with him, given his attitude.

plz stop this flamewars ... he said he was trying to find a group to help him ... ok you are imp, so i am happy you cant advance . I understand you get a bit frustrated and now you are complaining

if i cant group make it doable solo... i enjoy that you need to group for some tasks out in space.

We should try to give this man tips to get into a group and enjoy as we do.. and not beeing flamers and

make him quit. Ok here are my advices, some were already stated above...

  • Open a post in your galaxy forum

  • Join a guild

  • dunno giveup spamming (dunno spam too much).. use planetary chat too

  • Offer your help

  • Go into space, at space station or a weaker missions spawn, where others trying to do there missions, what you have already completed. Target friendly player ship and do /invite .. offer them your help in group chat .. when you got their missions done ask em for help .. (works great for me)

  • If system tells you they are already in a group, ask if they may allow you to join in

  • and tells do work much better than spamming ... a lot of people even dunno read the spatial

  • JOIN THE REBELLION .. we are the better and nicer guys

You can also use /tell player1,player2,player3 tells ... it would let the think you spend your time on writing something only to them and you will be at least an answer worth ... preferabletell people of you faction, i always avoid grouping with imps (*hey this is war*).

Good luck and dunno give up brother !!! (may i get one star :smileywink
