like maybe after JTLS gets released in the UK(as we are the last place to get it) anyone who has jtls enabled gets the option when they log in and thats it.

I'd like to see our second character slots be moved to a Veteran reward. Not everyone wants to be a Jedi, but you force everyone that wants their second character to become one. A majority of the people doing the Village "quest" (grind) only want to be able to have two characters on the same server without having to buy a second account. I'm also one of those who wish to have the second character more then becoming a Jedi.


If they gave the second slot out as a Vet. reward then this would be a good solution to switching races. This way you can keep your current character, plus have a new slot to do with as you please. I hope they do something like this for the Vet. reward program. Because my one year anniversary will be coming up on Nov. 20th and I'd hate for SOE to show their appreciation for my business this past year by giving me a useless painting.

Changing the race of a current character would distort the ongoing history.
However you have a valid point about the shipwright bonuses (those are also somewhat improper, since MonCal should have a significant bonus there).
I completely agree about the 2nd slot however. That has been my biggest argument all along about the jedi system.

some friends and i have just been chatting about this on comms, what weve come up with is that perhaps it would be possible for the devs to implement a feature for Bio-Engineers, that they could sell or use a certain pack, or option for when ppl clone at the nearest clone centre.


Whatever it is, be it either a pack you could buy, or perhaps you need the services of a bio-engie at the clone centre. You could have the option to have your appearance, as far as race goes, be bio enhanced to show a different race and skill set.



any more thoughts from people here if this would be a good way of getting round it or ....... etc etc

Some one like me would use the opprotunity to change race simply because I hate the race I am now but do not want to start over. Even if I was only allowed to change from my current race, to a sullustan or ithorian, I would jump at the chance. The bonuses to shipwright would mean nothing to me.


While I would love a race change opprotunity, but I do not share your reason why.
