Thread: Comparisons between ARC-170 and ETA-2 Actis Interceptor for trading purposes?

grinding xp with a Ywing sucked ... don't want to do it again, sigh.
Is there any way for a Rebel on ground and rebel pilot (3333) to get the interceptor (Jedi starfighter?) without having to regrind pilot?
Grinding pilot is a pain in the a$$. I want the ship. No fair that Imperials get the best faction pet (ATST) AND the best fighter.

I'm willing to drop ground faction but to regrind pilot? Giving the rebsthe crap 170 ship when the imps get the Interceptor make me

Sorry. Resigning from the Rebel ground forces will automatically strip you of your Rebel pilot skills.

if i drop ground rebel and go to imperial, can i do the eta quest without losing my freelance pilot status?
The Jedi Starfighter is the best, I wouldnt drop Imp and go reb for the ARC 170. I would rather have speed over Power.

You need to speak to the Queen of Naboo in Theed Palace.
I've read that you need to be a rebel combatant for her to speak to you, I was when I did the quest.
Just make sure you're not combatant when you travel to the imperial prison on dath, unless you want a fight.

I've taken people up in my nova courier a number of times to man the guns, my job as pilot has always just been to fly the ship in a mostly straight line so my gunners can get their sights. With the huge shields I can place in my nova its never an issue for me to take a few hits while the gunners do their jobs.
But with the ARC-170 its a different matter.
I took 2 guildies up earlier and the best description of the flight for them was afk xp grinding in space. The ARC-170 fly's like my a-wing, I can throw it in tight turns and never let a target out of my sights. Because of the maneuverability of the ship there's never the chance to do a deep banking turn that will let my gunners get their sights, by the time they've realized that there's a target to aim at I'll be on its tail firing my forward guns.
I've ditched the guns from the turrets in my ARC-170 & replaced it with a bigger gun up front. Its basically a souped up a-wing now with a bigger gun
and guess what, ITS BUGGED
it says i need to compleat the quest before i can use the deed Even though i have compleated the quest :/ how gey is that.
