I hear that we are good for the corvette but what good are we up there?

I've only been once but did not find anything we could slice so I'm not quite sure. The Super Battle Droids are quite resistant to a KD as well as stun. Feign Death does indeed work well because often, others in your group will draw the aggro off you.
I found that if you walk -- not run -- many of the NPCs will not aggro on you. Other than just adding some good ol' smuggler goodness to the group, I'm not sure we have any advantage. Panic shot would be good to try to keep combat to one-on-one but AOE in the corvette means pulling everything. Not recommended.
I found myself laying on my back quite a bit. It was the absolute most challenging PvE experience I have had in this game.

I think there is somewhere in there where we can hack a computer to get codes for doors (or it could be that everybody can do this and I just assumed it was because I was a smuggler).

Yeah, if you have slicing terminals, you can slice the computer for the bridge code, instead of needing the boot disk from upstairs.
Its pretty useful. not to mention that FD has allowed me to make several loot trips by myself, one in which I nabbed a powerplant for myself... I'm thinking of starting a business, where I smuggle loot off the corvette to sell... HA!
Anyways, smuggler is one of the best professions for the corvette if you ask me. You just have to be very sneaky sneaky.

How do you get the Super Battle Droids to attack the npc's instead of you? Went up and they kept killing me through doors and walls.

feign death. couple smugglers workng together can finish corvette under time limit. FD works beautifully. Knowing your way around helps too. Add a bunch of BH, commandoes, and defense stackers to your group - and you'll an unstoppable team.

Can somebody let me know if CM poisons and disease work during the instanced Corvette missions? I read somehwere it was bugged and didn't work.
Also, stupid question, do poisons and disease work on non-bio NPCs like AT-STs, Super Battle Droids, etc.?

Won't work on non-bios such as AT-ST, Darktrooper, Super Batledroid, Droideka and some of the Novatroopers on the Corvette.

Actually it worked quite well on the occasions I played it. Especially when we did the destroy missions. We had little of the group left really 3 of us. A Master Doc myself and one other. I kept poisoning in between incapps and deaths and the doc kept rezing me.. Not bad for a just planning to suppport..

I think its funny that you have fun playing a charcter that lies down and gives up. FD shouldn't work considering if something incaps you or thinks it incaps you, it should kill you reguardless of the fact that you are closing your eyes to aviod died.
