Just found a free minute to type this while the gaffer is out of the room..

I know I should search, but I don't have much time

Question: I was training Reb Pilot for the first few weeks into my JTL experience, but decided to try Freelance (?)... down the road if I feel like moving into Rebel Freelance do I have to drop all my Neutral FL xp and retrain from Novice up, or can I simply talk to a Reb Freelance trainer and start running missions for them (all Ship certs and xp trees are the same for both versions of Freelance)?

Sorry about the vagueness, was speed typing last post as boss had just stepped out...

Planetside I'm Rebel, in space I'm currently flying CorSec (Neutral Freelance I believe) but was wondering if I was to want to fly Smuggler's Alliance - which I believe has at least the same ship certifications - do I have to drop all my current Freelance skills and retrain everything from ground up?

I know that if I was to switch Pilot Faction completely, ie. Freelance CorSec to Rebel Alliance Pilot, I would have to drop all my skills to 0 and startover. I was hoping that wasn't the case with just switching from Freelance Neutral to Freelance Rebel (CorSec to Smuggler's).

Is it?

No problem

And yes, like I said in my first reply, if you're switching squadrons (even inside the same faction) you have to drop all pilot skills and start over.

There's a guide on how to do this in the Pilot FAQ over over the Pilot Forums.
