Don't take my word for it, people... save the chip and see for yourself. I think it's a good way to help customers save for ships they "think" they couldn't possibly afford.
Inoticed it while workingon Master Pilot.![]()

On my new alt, I'm shooting for making Ace in all nine squadrons. I'm holding onto my credit chip to see how high it will go during this. It ammuses me very much.

On a slightly different subject...don't you love how you instantly loot kills in space, and how everyone that lands a shot getsfull XP? This has partly been implemented on the ground, where all parties that place a hit now getfull XP. However, the auto-loot element is still missing...this causes players on the groundto speed-loot or macro-loot, whatever you call it. Personally, I'd like to see the loot go directly into your inventory for kills on the ground like space does.

I believe the term you are looking for is ninja loot. There are ways that a group leader can prevent it as well..such as a lotto loot, or group lead loot only etc etc. If you are in a group that is having ninja loot problem..its the group leader's fault. all they have to do is change the looting rights.

I saved a credit chip solely for "emergency" purposes. I let it build up a bit at a time when I was not desperate for money and then I stashed the chip in my Safety Deposit and tried my best to not even think about it. I have yet to need or use it but I now know that if I'm ever low on cash, I always have that little bit of backup credits waiting for me

Actually this is how things used to work on the ground to a year and a half ago (regarding the xp). I used to grind with a pikeman friend. He'd do an area attack and aggro all the pikets onto him using Warcry and Intimidation. I'd hit them all at least once, then he'd kill them. Mad xp. Then the devs dicieded to stop that. Now, months later with they introduction of the CU, the put it back in.
I always found that odd.
