They may as well have named it Kimogila style 3. Hopefully it has good stats.

hold up.. what? you gotta be friggin kidding me, you're absolutely right its a kimogila with turrets slapped on!! c'mon i was hoping for a black sun design or something, maybe a modified chiss clawcraft... but then again i'm talkin out of my ass on that one, devs would probably say "Chiss? Oh yeah! Those blue guys we designed to show up every now and then as unspeakable NPC's... They play a bigger part than that?"

Thanks for clearing that up.I hear so many Imperials say that it's the worst handling ship in JTL. While I, of course, take that with a grain of salt, it's difficult to gauge it when you've never actually flown it.
actually the TIE bomber is the worse handling ship in the game. The PYR is the same as the b-wing and less than an MP ship, but lacks the mass of either to dump in a highlevel engine.
as for the whine part... well, there are hundreds of posts on this forums with privateers whining for a master ship. No wonder it got put in.

For real!! Id rather have a blacksun design. The kimogila had a lousy cockpit veiw, i flew it one time and redeeded it.

Oh whoopidu and tralala what a great (*caugh*) ship.
They take away a piece of art like teh FSP from neut´s and now give us a mobile target!
That´s not a ship! It´s a flying VICTIM! Not even the Rhyxirk or Firespray have such huge hitprofiles...

As to those who complain that it's just a modified Kimagola: Take a look at the TIE fighters sometime. The TIE Agressor is just a kit-bash. The TIE/ld, TIE, and TIE/In are all kit-bashes and alike. For the Rebels, the Y-Wing and the Y-Wing Longprobe are alike. Join the crowd, folks. You now get your first clone ship. Enjoy! (I bet that you didn't realize that you didn't have a cloned model, did you?)

Personally, I'm happy to have the new ship. It is after all JUST WHAT ASKED FOR. A master lvl ship and a 2 seater rolled into one works for me. And to all those out there whining that it's "not pretty enough"; how many times have you gotten blown up by a bomber and thought, damn that was a nice lookin' ship? Sorry, but form follows function...

personally i think it's horrible. it's a friggin kimogila with a turret slapped on, unless my eyes are deceiving me. since its on test center maybe some changes will be made before it hits live. i dont have my hopes up though.

The Rebel 2-player, turreted ship looks just like one of the other Rebel ships, with a turret strapped on.
ALL the Imperial ships look alike, including the Decimator (to an extent)
And this surprises you?

You've got to be kidding me? Have you flown a Rihkxyrk? (BTW, can anyone even spell the ship's name?)
You wanna talk lousy cockpit views... try dogfighting with over 75% of your screen dominated by the stupid nose of the Rihkxyrk. Heck... even the targeting recticle is BELOW the bow of the ship!

Put down the crackpipe. I took the screenshots from the TC. The Krayt has NO WHERE NEAR the hitprofile of a Rihkxyrk or Firespray.

Do you honestly know how long it takes to model a new ship, then IMPLEMENT the design in a fashion that won't create bugs, crashes, or other unforeseen problems? They based it off the Kimo design so it would integrate seamlessly.
I'm sorry you didn't get a super-ship that has 1000 to every maneuvering stat and makes L2 engines go 2000kph...but you (and this is coming from ME, Mr. The-Devs-Could-Do-Much-Better) have to give the Devs some slack here.
By b*tching about cosmetic looks and how "it's not good enough," you're HURTING the situation more than you think you're helping.

Case in point. Congratulations, you're the new posterchild for ungrateful players.
You wanted a new ship, you got one a little more than a MONTH after JTL's release.
But no, it's not good enough. It's not pretty enough. It's not fast and speedy enough. You wanted a ship that had the B-Wing's mass with A-Wing/Advanced maneuverability stats because YOU'RE A PRIVATEER, and you have it SOOOO bad.
Normally I'd be more eloquent, but f*cking waaaaah. Poor you. I'm tired of people thinking this game is friggin' Burger King and it's their personal Whopper to have "their way." Try going Imperial and see what it's like to make due with 20-65k ships on which you can usually only fit one projectile mount. Maybe you'll come out of it a better pilot who doesn't have to rely on three weapons plus missiles to get the job done.
