go hire some gunners or hire a pilot and be a gunner yourself.
its a M_U_L_T_I_P_L_A_Y ship
want to fly a fighter you got a whole raft of em to fly

Since we can only have 3 ships, I wanted to go with a Decimator instead of the Sorosuub Yacht which, unless you just want a showpiece, is useless. But then, if I can ONLY be pilot of the Decimator (ie. no guns, no ops), then I might as well use the yacht since the Decimator will be just as useless to me 99% of the time. And the yacht is free.

Couldn't agree more. I bought my decimator already (even though I have Tier 4 to go) and was shocked when I learned from a friend owning one that you can't lock turrets forward.

Do not lock turrets forward tho, just add another weapon slot useable only by pilot... 1 weapon for the pilot won't make it uber, and the ship will still be a lot more powerfull when there are gunners in

As its your ship, I would make a guess that you would be certified to fly it ... it doesn't mean the rest of your crew has to be. I am totally for keeping these things multiplayer ... thats what they are there for, they take a crew to run them.

I agree, they should have forward facing turrets, just for the fun of seeing yall post some threads about "how mp ships suck solo" cause they're not able to turn fast enough to keep up with ANY fighter, including the heaviest ones.
