I'm seeing people saying they got it now, any word on this yet?
I'd try searching, but this search engine is so screwed up. "There are too many searches in progress".....

the flash speeder is in beta right now.
i got my preorder disk a few days ago, and when i installed it and logged in, i had a deed for a flash speeder.
and the registration said that when jtl goes live, all characters on my account will get it.
it would be nice if it were faster, but at least its something different.

Okay, here's what you do. In the launchpad, go to the option "My Account" Click the "edit account" button, then click "Register expansion" and type in the Registration Key code on the back of the disk. When you enter it, the menu will not mention that you have access to the preorder, but trust me, you do.

I've heard conflicting explanations of this. I've heard that you need to have two serial keys in order to use the flash speeder: the one on the back of the beta disk case which you enter into the beta registration web page, and then you need the serial key from the actual JTL game (coming in later) which you enter into the "register expansion" screen in launchpad.
And then people are also saying you can just enter one key, the one from the beta disk, into the "register expansion" launchpad screen. I don't believe this is true because then you would have nowhere to enter the key for JTL when you get the game.

ComCypher, very true. But I wonder if you can put in the beta serial and then after that put in the JTL serial.

you must have registered a beta disk key and a JTL key to revieve it on live, in beta you only need the beta key

Okay, I have my SWG account on two computers. I installed the beta that I got from signing up for betaon my apartment computer. I installed the beta disc I got at my parent's house, so I could play it while I was there. Will the Flash Speeder be enabled for both my computers, or do I need to go get the disc and install it on my computer?

How does this work? Why could you only get it from 2 US stores and only for a limited period. I pre-ordered my JTL from amazon.co.uk? Why can't I qualify for it? This sucks! For me to have gotten the game from the states would have cost me the game + twice the game's price in shipping!!! I'm not happy!

that info would have to be stored on SOE's servers. You can play SWG from any computer with the game installed.

I went to EB and got mine pre-ordered. I didn't get any kind of beta disk (although I was already in beta). How will I go about getting my speeder do you suppose?
