ok heres what i did
-got invite before pre order shipped
-registered/downloaded invite beta
-got pre order disk in mail
-registered pre order key
-logged in
no speeder
what am i missing here? my guess is that its too early and it hasnt reconized that i put the code in

You don't recieve the Flash Speeder until Jump to Lightspeed goes live on October 26th.

So I got my preorder disk today, and tried to register for the beta. I knew I wouldn't be able to, because I'm under 18, and that doesn't bother me. I never intended to get in anyway. But how do I go about getting my Flash Speeder if I can't register for the beta?
I have no problem not getting in to beta regardless of the fact that I preordered, but I should definately still be able to get the speeder. Is there a way I can go about doing this?

Register in the front page then click on register account key as long as your logged in to your account.
Ask mommy and daddy if your under 18

The speeder won't be in the game until JTL goes live anyway. Presumably they'll release the details, like how to redeem it if you're under 18 orwere in beta beforeyou got the pre-order disk,at that time.

I'm sure because of the interest that they'll make some way so that those under 18 who have the pre-order disk will be able to redeem for the flash speeder.

i honestly would just click the box saying your over 18, have your parents standing behind you when you do it so they know what your/they are agreeing to. Course you never know, if before on the documents you entered a birthday that is under 18 they may cross reference and invalidate. I would call customer support and have your parents authorize it.

and to answer the question, I think the flash speeder will actually come out with the release of the game as the beta is actually a seperate entity right now.

I fail to understand why S.O.E can't give a clear explaination about the speeder.
1. How to redeem it (The box is not very clear on that)
2. Is it for now or JTL? (I know the dev's said it was going live on Oct.1 but I suppose they just meant the code for it.)
3. Stats
Stuff like that.

I understood fairly well that it is redeemed when JtL goes live. It says on the disk section about the speeder "you will recieve your Flash Speeder the very first time you enter the liveStar Wars Galaxies: Jump to Lightspeed (the full version) game."
But it says in order to get it you have to follow the beta registration process. As far as the age thing goes, it checks the age thats listed on your account. My account is under my name and everything, so it has my age as well (I'm 17 if you care). When I go to the URL listed on the disk to register, it asks me to log in with my account, and immedietly afterwards I get to the screen that says "Thank you for your interest in the JtL beta, but you must be 18 years of age or older to register" or something like that.

Right I knew it stated that on the box. But the Dev's just werent clear about that...it is a bit confusing.
