Agreed. Personally i think its the most fugly ship in the game. As a target, It has one of the largest profiles. So i just dont understand the value people seem to put on this ship. So the "fetts" flew one in the movies... whoopty do. It shoulld have remained as the privateer master ship like it orginally was in beta, not as the fetish cult object it is now.

If you guys don't like it then there is still no need to deny others content by selling parts to a chassis dealer.

<i>"Here's an idea. Help the economy and sell to your friendly neighborhood shipwright instead."</i>

Mmmm let me think about this one............er.... no.

why should i have to run around the galaxy looking for a Ship wright to sell my loot to, when i can go to Coronet or theed or any other major city that has a dealer and sell it to them for a fair price?

if im pulling out, 20 items at level 7 (7,000) = 140,000 how many SW, are going to pay the same price?

and thats just level 7 equipment. if i have level 10 items, (which i dont have yet) im going to save em up and sell them to the dealer for 10,000 a pop. (if its fixed )

So the SW need this loot for a firespray? how much they selling for? 5,000,000 ??? and we get pennies for the loot. Me thinks me charge MORE money to SW for the level 10 stuff

Any ship wrights wanting loot, ADVERTISE, how much you sell your "firespray" and what type and level of loot you need. then we can see about fair pricing.... LMAO

To win in PVP one must cheat, exploitz, hackz, and above all, have other pals that do the same. Once the foe is defeated, then go "OMGZZZ UZZZ SUCZ, LERN TO PLAY"

And so forth!

The only way some of my characters are able to pay for new ships and good parts from a SW is to sell all thier total crap to the dealers. That's how it helps the economy. Despite what master crafters seem to believe not every character is walking around with 10 million or more creds in their pocket.

I think it's only level 10 parts that aren't going for the full 10k they should be going for. Any the rare occasion that I've ever sold loot to the chassis dealer, I noted that the offered price is correct for any component of a lower level than 10 but they only seem to go for 500.

Don't know why I've not /bugged this yet though - has anyone else?

As for the other option, well, I sell just about all my loot to the shipwrights in my city for 1k per piece. In return, they'll put me down for a Firespray as and when they get the schematic for one. If I need to get parts RE'd, I work out what I'm after and ask them to do it for me.

If you SW's want parts to RE,why don't youloot themyourselves in space. It's not that hard. Many master SW's that I know are also master pilots.

Of all the spam in Coronet, I have yet to see a Shipwright advertising that they are buying looted components. If you, as a Shipwright, want them, I suggest you stand AT the Chassis Dealer in Coronet, and offer to buy as people walk up to sell to him. That way you are visible to the people who have components, and you don't inconvenience them by cluttering up their inventory while they search the galaxy for a SW.

Strange thing is I am a shipwright and I cannot afford to buy these looted parts so let them keep them all If I want looted parts I take my tie advanced (that is currently running with the same spec (apart from mass) equipment I used to have in my bomber) and go out looting.

So far I have 1 large house full of loot 1 guild hall full 3 factories 2 small houses.

When I hit master it will be a day for re engineering (as all my guildies are putting all their loot in buildings around our city)

In exchange I have a bag in my house with all the re'ed parts in that they are welcome to help themselves from.

and re engineering does make some pretty good parts (see above example).

How about this:

I am not a shipwright, first of all.

You are making 140,000 for 20 level 7 parts? Good job that means that I am making 210,000 for the same loot. Who am I going to sell to? AND because I use the same SW I get discounts on my gear, AND will get a cut on the Firespray should I choose to buy one when he gets his last disks. Hmmm... who is smart now?

SW's shouldn't have to advertise. Do you not realize how easy it is to make friends with one and establish a business relationship that is mutally beneficial? That sweet level 8 capacitor you pulled? Mine is better because it has been RE'd. Those sweet level 9 disruptors? Mine are better because of RE. Why? Because I took the 17 minutes to find a decent shipwright, lucked out and found a great one, and am now making FAR more money than you chasis dealer junkies, SAVING FAR more money, and in the end will everyone involved will benefit.

Who is smart now?

The biggest problem I found with selling the components to shipwrights is the problem of only having 26 items offered to vendors.

Have a guild shipwright who gets all of our components.

Ok i'm a shipwright (only 3000) i sell half of "My" looted stuff to the chassis deal because i need cash to put in my extractors and vendors. Not all the crafters in the game have millions at thier fingertips. in fact your'd more than likely to find most of what they make goes back to the cost of making more, So give it a break with the crafters are the richest ppl in the game please! the other half i keep for RE'ing.

Ok some of you might not like the Firespray but there are a lot more who do, but the less loot there is the more SW's will charge for them, as from what i've been told by other SW's it take a lot of loot ot get the 8 parts to make the schematic.

SW's shouldn't have to spam coronet saying that they want you JTL loot, just offer it to their vendors when you buy your ship and components, i mean their vendors are right there infront of you. And come on isn't there enough ppl spamming Cnet (Doc's buff, guild or town recuiters, Solo group forming, non-solo group forming etc.........) do YOU really want more spam while your trying to play????

And here is a counter idea. Do what I did and post in the trade forums that you have loot that you want to sell. I had several people post replies over a day or two and had two or three emails. OR use ctrl+v and look under vendors/shipwrights and make your rounds. It is anything BUT hard to find a SW.
