Whatever you say. The devs would of lost more people be keeping the master missions the way they were, so I agree with their decision.
Would have my ass. People bought the game knowing what to expect. The dev's had heard the crying for weeks in Beta and knew what to expect, they keep track of pre-orders they must not have seen much of a shift and left it the way it was.
This way the guranteed cancelled accounts, and the kicker... The same people you say would have left because of one mission in a PvP zone will leave in month because there is absolutely NO CONTENT other then PvP in JTL. So really they are losing the only people that would have kept their accounts open because of JTL. I think it's poetic justice for a bunch of moron's that have driven this game into the ground.
There is a reason Lucas Arts is planning on taking over SWG, and it aint because SOE is doing a stand up job. Also something to make you wonder. EQ2 came out today, and guess what we get a bunch of changes on test center that are horrid, absolutely retarded. Think SOE is driving people out of SWG where they only get a small amount of the pie to EQ2 where they get it all?? Makes you wonder dont it.
@psiax : Great post ! And btw, I wanted the mission to be taken outta Kessel, or rather for people doing the master mission to be able to do it without the possibility of being griefed. Please note that I didn't say that I wanted the mission to be easier, nor did I say that I wanted Kessel to become "just" a regular PvE zone (it remains the hardest PvE zone, and with a special setting).
As a final word, I intend to join every PvPer in Deep Space once I'm Master. To all Imperials : please try to prevent me and my friends from destroying your beautiful ISD, I'll be glad to blow you up along with it !
PS : I don't do any PvP on the ground, because I don't like the feeling (and never did)
