I would like at least two. That way I can have my battle X-Wing and another ship, to customize and cruze around in.

It should only be one. Having two or three will just mean they can get back into combat too quickly.
Vehicles, don't have weapons do they?(I haven't encountered one that does)

It wouldn't surprise me if they limit you to 3 vehicles total, both ground and space. You choose the ratio.

But wait, so when I get shot down in one X-Wing, I can just pull out another two? That dosn't sound unique either. But, I'm just here to think about how stuff can go wrong anyways, so maybe it could.
When you get shot down, you'll die and clone in a facility. You'll either have to repair your ship or take out another.
What he means is that: he would have three X-Wings. He get's shot down in combat in one. He can immediately head back to the combat zone for two more times without stopping for repairs. That would be lame.
That's why I think you should only have one space ship at a time.

I wouldn't mind if we could have more than one ship in our datapad. Especially if we can own more than one TYPE. It would get kind of boring if you had to fly around in the same ship every day.
Maybe one day you want to fly inside your YT-1300, and then later in a smaller ship, like an X-Wing.
As for getting back into space too quiclky, maybe there would be a delay as to how fast you could get back into a ship. *shrug*
Anyway, I think 2 two ships sounds like a reasonable amount. 3 would be nice since that's the same as vehicles, but 2 would be enuogh IMO.

Maybe ships will have different classes i.e Fighter, freighter etc and your limited to one type of each. Max of 3.
Or, as someone said earlier, max of 3 vehicles in d-pad. Thats reasonable to me.

I figure it'll be one ship in your datapad at a time, and then later on you'll be able to add another, maybe 2 more max.

The way I read it, from what Cinco Barnes said at the IGN interview, is that you would be able to have more than one craft but only in you faction (i.e.: Imperial, Rebel or Privateer). But there is supposed to be some manner of safe vessel for flight. Perhaps he meant you could have a fighter and a freighter, which would make sense. If you could have three ships owned, it would make sense from the standpoint of having capitol ships at some point, as you could own a fighter, a freighter and a capitol ship.

I think it would be a good idea if we had room in our datapad for at least 1 ship to go overtin (factional ship, since I'm guessing you'll have to be overt to pilot your B-Wing/Tie so you can get dusted by a rovingsquadron of PKers) 1 big ship to haul your friends around in and at least 1 neutral ship so you can sport around without fear of roving gangs of overt thugs ganking you while you lag in toa heavily populated area.

I think your right...and it makes more sense that you can only have the ships in your own pilot tree...We are not going to be able to master 2 tree's or even one and a bit tree's

considering we are stuck on the ground right now, even one is an improvment.

HeHe You got that right...but I really am hoping for 2 or 3...it makes sense from what Cinco has been saying too
