I guess it depends on what stat is most important. Your crafted one only has 651 capacitor energy. With CO4, there is only 1300 energy to shunt into your shield. The "so-so" level 4 will give 2000 energy to shunt into your shield. Yes, yours will have an overloaded recharge of 85.2 and be fully recharged in 15 seconds. The "so-so" capacitor will hit 1300 energy in 18 seconds, full charge in 28.
The recent capacitor changes just make crafted caps usable if you don't have better loot. With a heavy battery, I am sure you could get close to 1k capacitor energy to match the REd part, but then recharge would be a lot lower.
On the other hand, your Mark II capacitor is quite a bit lighter. There is definately merit to the crafted capacitors now. I admit, I do need to spend some time crafting caps to see if I can get something I would be happy using.

Ok, I have actual stats now:
Armor: 228.4
Hitpoints: 281.1
Reactor Energy Drain: 947.4
Mass: 3933.7
Capacitor Energy: 1008.7
Recharge rate: 36.0
Certified Level 4 Ship Equipment
Verification of: Qualdex Conservator Q3 (loot), but it has a different name included in the title saying it was from : Tam'lir. I believe this was a result of RE.
What would be average stats or what should I be looking for in a capacitor post-CU.
Thanks for the help,

Yeah, that's the result of REing. I would expect a little better on the recharge, the rest of the stats are fairly good for a lvl 4. I would say its a good capacitor. If you really feel you need a better recharge and energy, a Mark III could work if you have the mass to spare.
Post-CU and Pre-Cu makes no difference for space loot, CU had no affect on space except to make it more crowded.

According to this survey, that cap is above average. Then again, it should be since it is REd.
The post above will give you an idea what a Mark II crafted capacitor with quick charge battery looks like. In another thread, someone posted a Mark II crafted cap with heavy battery with 2440 mass, 902 cap energy, and 34 recharge, but they said they didn't have the best resources. As Loki said, a crafted Mark III is probably better, but it'll have a mass around 6200.
It depends on what is most important to you, recharge rate or cap energy. It is a decent capacitor, but it could have been REd a little better.

Thank you all for the quick response. I now have a good idea what I should be looking for.

What is better for a recharge rate, high or low number? I read a low number is better for droid command speed, but not sure about the rest.

Droid Speed is the delay between commands - lower is better
Cap/Shield Recharge is how fsat energy is put back into the Cap/Shield to ''recharge'' it - higher is better

Thanks, I just re-read the FAQ's and found what I needed. Amazingly enough it was right there in the same post as the info I already had on droid command speed.
