I would like to see news planets that go with each species [ Ithor, Sullust, Mon Calamari, Rodia.. ] and maybe some new species, maybe they could make up there own species to put into the game, that would be interesting.

atmospheric flight :in things like the twin pod cloud car and snow speeder.
better faction missions
bounty hunter revamp / assasin player class : can use poisons, stealth/sneak. has trapping or entangling weapons. specialy mod own ships,weapons and armor(just like the fetts and most other known bounty hunters) plus a fear/respect level for masters.
droids as a playable race :IG-88's, combat droids etc
complete smuggler overhaul : with Jtls smugglers should be able to smuggle stuff.
new armor
new weapons
factional player sqauds : so an imperial guild for example could become one of the detachments assigned to a planet.they would all be in biker scout, stormtrooper or pilot armor and all would have specific roles.
Thief as a player class. can pick pockets, and mug players. based on a percentage chance you can "lift" a certain amount of credits from a target player, if you fail then a PvP tef is generated and the thief will become attackable by the player who he tried to steal from.
Improved entertainers : entertainers should be able to give a popularity level and entertainer groups can do concerts etc.this would also involve a larger selection of music and dance moves. entertainer player mission terms where a player can hire an entertainer group or single entertainer for parties etc.
Better droids : DE's should be able to make better combat droids than the probots. eg federation battle droid.
Pets as pack animals : pets should be able to carry stuff
Pod racing where pods can be modified like ships.

I like all but this one:

I played shadowbane for a while- If you played a thief for the stealth purposes for a guild you still couldn't get a group. I mean who ever heard of an Honest Thief, right?
Not to mentionI hated the greifing that went on in groups when you allowed a thief to group with you.
Work you backside off for credits for harvesting or buying resources,so some griefer TK/Thief can steal a non combat Crafterblind? no thanks.

I totaly agree but it was just a simple idea
if the thief could only "lift" a maximum of 5% of the creds you are holding then that i suppose would be ok. plus in SWG we have a bank to deposit cash into.
I just like the idea of a thief or criminal class. it adds a bit more flavor to the galaxy.

The next expansion has to be all about improving the GCW aspect of the game like Mihoko-Tailor said.
On the JTLS side, I want to see PA's able to multicrew capital ships with players serving as gunners, pilot, and engineering (manage shields in battle shield, engine, weapons power allocation). These ships need to have the ability to launch player fighter craft. Also add assault shuttles to the game and allow the boarding of capital ships for close quarter combat.
As menta mentioned, there needsto be something more than the simple grouping we have now. PAs should be able to form storm trooper or reb squadrons and have mission content geared toward group combat.
Improve in game communication for factions. One of the things the CRS guys got right in WWII Online was the group combat aspect of the game. There needs to be more bases that are not destroyed but overtaken. And there needs to be some incentive to keep them. If SOE could do that they would add a new dimension to the game. Instaspawn screwed up WWII Online, and since SOE doesn't have that they won't suffer that pitfall.
Introduce ground based assault vehicles and theground based defenses to counter them. Just don't screw up the balance like they did in SWBF.
JTLS was a good step toward this feeling like the empire vs the rebellion. Before it I felt like we were just a bunch of guys running around with composite killing each other for no real purpose.
We need to feel like we are part of a larger struggle.
Ambitious? you bet.
