even tho anyone who plays galaxies that is willing to pay monthly will go out and want to buy the game? wow, i just realized that! haha, i mean say igalaxies sold 100 copies on the first day, and another hundered on the second and then never sold a single copy after (shooting wayyyy to low here) then a year later an expansion comes out and the rush is even bigger then the first day of release, 200 people would show up.. put that in the true perspective of starwars galaxies, EVERYONE who bought it (thats still playing ofcourse) would go to buy a copy of JTL so it would be the total number of people that bought it through the past year, versus the total number on the first day, aka alot more people will be buying this then you may think, mabe even in the scale of halo2 and etc.

i doubt that, there are no games more anticipated than doom 3, halflife 2, and maybe halo 2. also... ive never went to get a game and it had been sold out already.

Actually, it probably wont be sold out. so you're right in saying that Cobra. Considering theirs only like 600k users(which is alot for an mmo) that means that there'll be 600k expansions sold if everyone buys it. so u get that 600k figure and compare it to the million of people or so that have an Xbox. hm...i guess from there it would divide into people who like halo and people who dont. strange, but i know some people who hate halo. they think its overrated. i sorta agree with them too

Why reserve it? why not just buyy it when it comes out? lol
JTLS is a middle to the End of the month release. I only get money on the 3rd of each month. (SSI) Reserved it so I have a fair chance of getting it the day JTLS becomes live and it's paid for.

i see no point in reserving it... it costs more and i can do a 2 min walk to the store and get it, not like its gonna be sold out everywhere or anything like doom 3 or halflife 2 would be
You know.. for you, it makes sense not to pre order. some of us live much farther then 2 minutes away.. Hey we want to do preorder it's no big deal right?

I only really pre-order stuff if it's close to the holidays. I remember when the PS2's first came out, and I thought, heck, I'll wait, it will be cheaper during X-Mas...boy was I wrong.
If the release date stays the same, I probably wont pre-order and just run down to my local Best Buy or EB World in the mall and just pick it up that day. If it changes to anytime over the holidays, then hell yeah, I will pre-order it. I wont make the same mistake twice.

Good point, so i guess it wont be sold out....hmmm now im thinking if i should pre-order it just so i can say "oh yea i got that puppy on pre-order..." the day it comes out at the store, that way the person behind me that has the last copy in the store in there hands would have to give it to me..........heh heh
oh and i do agree that Halo/Halo2 is overrated, but i think it is an awsome game
better then anything that ps2 or gamecube has (and i can legally say that because i own all 3 systems so dont gimme the "You wouldnt know what your talkin bout" thing)

As much as i'd hate to get off the topic, expecially on my own thread (lol) but ps2 has some wicked awesome games. Now I know the Grand Theft Auto games have been transferred over to xbox. But controls arent nearly as good. Plus, we got socom2. and if anyone here has played halo with a bunch of people, and played socom2 online or LAN with alot of people, you know socom2 is way better than Halo. Sure we dont get vehicles, but the whole socom2 game is pretty much cinematic gameplay and when you use the sniper rifle, it has that real affect cause the scope is constantly moving at your eyes have to adjust to the screen for a second. That type of immersion is hard to beat and when socom3 comes out, its gonna be better than halo 2. no doubt. LETS HEAR IT FOR SOCOM 3!!!

I haven't bought a single-player game since I found Infantry in 2000.
