Not a flame but I wholeheartedly disagree. New pilots and those who don't fly that often really don't appreciate how easy space is now. Also, since a skill like that would probably be able to be utilised in pvp, which in space is a twich system it'd probably be frowned upon just like the majority dislike the utilisation of Epulse 3 in space.

Possibly a skill which maybe acted like IFF scramble in pvp would be useful. I.e, Jedi is in a furball with another player, they activate skill and then to the other player, the Jedi's fighter disapears off radar and becomes untargetable for a few seconds. That might be a better way, but personally I just don't think JTLS can benefit from anymore skills which would give a minority an advantage over the majority.

Please bare in mind that with droid commands which are easily obtainable by everyone, the JSF and GSF which these days are too, easy to acquire along with even crafted starship parts; there is no PVE based mission in the game which can't be waltzed through without breaking so much than a finger nail in space. The only two quests exempt from this for the 'average Joe' would be the Lord Cyssk mission and possibly the Tier 5 Ghrag duty mission from the CPG protector.

In order to make JTLS more fun and to preserve the reason to play it, we don't need new skills, but more actual playable content or relevance to pvp in space. Somthing else to do which once played through once, won't get boring. Maybe like GCW in space or the fabled Capital ships which we might/not be getting at some unforeseeable point in the future. I'm one of JTLS's biggest fans. I am flying my A-wing most nights and have flown every mission the game has to offer. I personally think, GCW in space and a few boardable/conquerable/destroyable faction Stations would be the way forwards, or at least a step in the right direction.

Are you flying an A-wing out of stubbornness or do you not know that the JSF/GSF have superior stats?

I'm flying an A-wing out of stubbornness and for the fact that I'm still doing better with it thanmost of the (if not all)people flying JSFs or other ROTW craft. My success, I put down to experience and learning one's starship well.

What the hell is so bad about flying a JSF or any other ROTW ship if it has batter stats?

Why would I want to fly a Rhyz if my JSF not only gets hit less, because it's so tiny, but can do the equivelant of a revers immelman at near-full speed? I am 4/4/3/3 and I want to Ace the prof ASAP without being shot down? So why would I use a mini-freighter in a dogfight???

I guess its the logic of the thing. its like a 50yr old ship that out does the modern Craft in game. Sort of a WW1 Spad taking out a F117. I aced pre JSF so im jaded I guess.

Because some of us need a challenge? Because space, outside of PvP, is almost mindlessly easy? Because the pre-RotW ships still hold classic charm? Becuase flying an older ship teaches you a lot about space, and pushes you to your limits. Because many of us consider those ships to be boarderline cheating? Because it's more fun to brag when you shoot down an Actis with a 50k pre-RotW ship? Or simply because many of us are flying for fun, and trying to get away from the ground game jedi and the magic-button-for-the-win mentality?

lol "let's make it more like the movies!"

nevermind the fact that if the game were more like the movies, the OP would not have a jedi toon.

let's also bring back permadeath (more like the movies) implement blue glowies (more like the movies) eradicate the jedi (more like the movies) and have an actual GCW.

Sounds peachy to me.

What is most important to you? Would you give me the happiness of stealing it from you?

Hmm... I'm going to have to disagree. Jedi need no bonuses in space.

If jedi get additional skills in space then pilot should cost SP too right?

I like it more when they're completely separate systems, with Ship Wright as the only exception.

I'd prefer just to be a really really talented pilot and then say I'm a Jedi because of how good I am.

And if I get shot down, well then... someone must have shot a ysalamiri at me.

Do what ever you like in PvE.

In PvP it is mostly considered unsporting to fly a ship that is 2 times better than it should be in almost every way it matters, this is not a game that has an end or a way to win... a fair fight is better than winning any day regardless of outcome.

Because you cheapen your own experience in the game. You master a pilot profession thinking you are something special when all you did was sleaze the system through the path of least intelligence.

Because in PvP, two Aces in JSFs can easily have 20 minutes battles without killing each other, sometimes without even hitting each other.
