Ah.. ok.. so my expirence is not unique (and for some reason that is MORE troublesome)... so can i just expect to lose money on every mission I run from a BH terminal then?

You can expect, on average, to have a small profit on your missions. You'll be better off both credit-wise and time-wise if you drop Investigation 1, start over, and run newbie missions until you cap your BH XP at 10K.

I do not know if this is still a problem but when I was in Investigation 1 my droids would run out of power and be eaten by Space Slugs (still don't understand how a seeker that doesn't leave the planet gets eaten by a Space Slug)

But once I trined Investigation 2 this stopped.

I would train Investigation 2 if I were you. The missions are no harder.

First thing I do when I get to the actual planet is create a "waypoint: where the last update is. Then I use my seekerand and get an update. Once I get the update, I make another waypoint at the new position and estimate what city he is heading to, or a cut off point.

Once I get about 2k away, I send out anouther seeker. I ususally end up within 500m of the mark.

But lately, the first seek I send out says the mark is at the same location (no movement). So I start out after him. Since I reaaly ahve no idea where he is heading, I send anthor one out when I get started. It too tells me he is in the same spot. This happens when I am about 1k away.

I send a third one and usually get the update after I am at the mark. Expectingan update to show him within 500 m I get the update and the mark is like 5k - 6k ways?

What's up with that? 3 straight updated of no movement, then from 1K away to 5K away in a different direction?

Has anyone else experianced this?

Yes one of the old long known issues they DEVs choose to ignore. But hey you can get more exp now if you can find your mark.

I get this MORE when I would launchmany seekers at a time. If I only launch 1-4, it seems to happen less.

My advice is to stay where you are until the mark moves. This only sucks when there is a shuttle waiting, and you are not climbing aboard it. If you don't want to miss the shuttle, go to the closest town from the mark, and hope. But if the mark does go to the closest town, he'll be there by the time it updates anyway. (Pending where he's at with first wp) Personal preference I guess. Yes, it is a bug.

i've noticed something odd that only is happening to me on dantooine.

once i get to the planet, the waypoint is defined - i send a seeker and grab a shuttle to a closer spot or start heading out. the seeker then reports back a new location almost opposite of where the mark was - normally the new waypoint is 5 or 6k m from the initial spot - but in these cases the mark has moved 10 to 12k m.

on all other planets, even two hop planets from kaadara, everything is as normal, only on dantooine do the marks appear to move at twice the speed.

I usually do this too, but several times lately on dathomir and dantooine the mark just won't move. In each case I have moved to the mark (about 5k unfortunately) and the jerk is just standing there waiting for me to blast him into atoms. This latest patch has really messed something up although I have no idea exactly what. All kinds of absolutely insane and random stuff happening.
