There are certain things that warrant complaints such as unstable servers and ruined continuality thru Jedi implementation. However for the most part your right, if you dont like it dont use it. Stop whinning.

We understandyou itis you who does not understand. If you want speed fly a A-Wing. Your mis-interpreting the purpose of the yacht. It is not meant for the pvp zone. It is meant to use as house, as a way to see the galaxy without being destroyed, to have fun parties. Stop bathing in your ignorance.

Nothing in this universe is entirely useless....its a flying house...not designed to move fast...i know that...just cope with its lack of speed and enjoy it. Its invulnerable so laugh at people when they get blown up by 450 enemy space ships and your completely safe

Why do you keep putting words in my mouth?
Did I say "make it as fast as an awing?" no.
The thing is slower than my starter tie fighter. I find that a BIT RETARDED.
The words "sight seeing ship" have been used over and over.. do realize that when you hyper to a new space zone you get dropped like 10,000km away from a space station.. do you know HOW LONG it takes to fly that thing the 10k to the station to land? I wish it oculd be blown up cause i'd hit the eject button just to get me there faster.
I don't think its a bad game design decision to give the thing a top speed that makes it a worth while travel vessel instead of a floating house. I don't understand how you can call me ignorant for having that opinion.

whatever. I didn't even expect that many replies.. or that many people arguing against whatI said. I hardly think its unreasonable that it is at least as fast as a starter ship.

TIEs, by nature, are SUPPOSED TO BE FAST! AND ITS NOT A COMBATSHIP! its like saying why does the F-4Phanton go faster than a 747?

I know, the biggest cruise ships believe it or not are faster than many recrational speedboats, Id like to see it go a little faster, like 650 or so maybe. And as manueverable as all the other MP ships.

I dont really mind it being slow, but it really shouldnt be. Its based on Landos yacht from the books, and that sucker was turbo fast, and armed. It should at least have the option of being upgraded to have bigger engines and stuff like that. They could also set it up so if you add a weapon, it loses its invulnerability and becomes like any other multiperson ship until you disarm it again. And as for mass having an effect on the ships speed and handling, Hans Falcon was huge and ithandled like a tie fighter. In space their is no gravity, so the mass of a ship would have little or no effect on its performance. I do believe tho that you should have to bepilot aceto equip the ship with new stuff or arm it, so it didnt become an advantage over other multiperson ships. But hey, its a free ship, so im happy with it no matter what, just had to put my "2 cents" in.

Try this - check the multiple hyperspace waypoints for each system. For instance, "Correlia's Own" drops you about
8km from the Corellia space station. Then go to the POI tab for the Corellia zone and select the station and autopilot on in.
Admittedly, some of the hyperspace points in a given zone can drop you a long way from stations, but those are generally good places to battle NPCs.

Who really wants to master a pilot prof to get to go on a ship with their friends?
Thats one of the main remedies of this yacht. I sure as hell dont want to be grinding out pilot just so that i can go on a ship with my friends.
