Thread: Vehicles
It would really be nice if accepting exceptional survey events gave you a nice fat exp bonus. I'm going to make that suggestion.

One thing will help is if you can find a Doctor to give you an enhancement on your stamina. I've done this and was able to survey for 3 hours non-stop. I did still have to deal with the survey events that pop up.
Run an AFK survey macro.
Problem solved.
If you don't know how to get past the pop-up macro busters then search these boards.
Running 2 macros in a loop will bypass the pop-ups (although you'll need to close a couple of hundred of them the next morning:smileyvery-happy
then hit /dump to break the loop....
All you have to do is migrate all your points to your action-related stats. I can survey non-stop anyway. I can also dance forever without ever resting. I lose so very little and regain it all before the next sample or flourish. Its easyto do this more efficiently... do you really need to AFK macro it?
No, vehicles will not need fuel.
The basics, without getting into numbers, is that they degrade a given value each time you pull them out. They also degrade some when they are in use, about every 6 minutes I think.
You have to take them to an NPC garage to repair them. I would imagine that PC cities will also be allowed to build garages, but I'm not sure on that.

So, for an normal vehicle of about 2000 hit points (2500 hit points is max, but will require weaponsmith grade materials to build), assuming you use it to it's minimum of 1/2000, it will cost 7,996 credits to fully repair. Vehicles that drop to 0/2000 will no longer be repairable.
In order to achieve 2500 hit points, it will require materials of above 970 SR (this is assuming they stick to a similar relationship of % experimental effectiveness that master artisans have with other crafted items).
On Eclipse, such materials will push the price of a swoop to approximately 250k credits just in resource cost...so I don't expect any except some very established weaponsmiths to have some...and even then, for personal use only.
Does anybody know what it will cost to repair them? After all they will cost around 50K from what I hear from artisans (after the prices drop to sane levels) if it costs too much to repair I'll stick with my Kaduu. 50k for me is a big chunk of change unlike the millionaires around. Most of the time I'm sitting at 100k or less in the bank.
