I hear the alarms on the ground... havent tried using another ship yet (was tired and logged), so I really hope that my advanced doesnt also have an alarm going off.


If that's the case, I'd hope deleting would fix it, but that's an awefully drastic thing to do being that it's almost a million credit ship and money doesn't grow on trees.

There was a solution posted on the Pilot forums last week mate. Get someone you trust to duel you, and have them damage you(carefully now ) until you get the message saying theres a plasma leak/whatever. Now have your crew go and repair the NEW leak with a repair kit, and the alarm should stop.

The bug is related to station repairs, you ALWAYS have to repair the leaks inside which cause the alarms with repair kits, then you can sort any remaining chassis/componant damage at the station.

The never ending siren really sucks. But what´s even more annoying is that everyone thats in the MP´s team get´s to hear it too... also on the ground...

Wow, thanks for beta-testing Jump to Lightspeed, have-a-nice-day, eh :-p? I'm glad to hear about this now, as I haven't gotten to the point of owning a VT-49. You'd think things like this would take precedence over, say, destroying the solo-group community :-p.

This was raised several times by myself in Beta. I posted x amount of times requesting an official response, from a dev or the powers that be, how the ship was expected to have the warnings stopped. Nothing. This was raised continually over the last month of beta by myself along with the disappearing conduits and plasma alarm saying you are on fire but no damage or wounds being taken.

All well and good being able to redeed to remove the warning but if you have items on the ship, say 50 because you wanted to decorate a bit and have the nice loot box, then redeeding every time your ship gets a plasma warning is not very good.

The MPS ships are the best aspect of JTL. Shame theres bugs which were raised during beta still being seen in live. Work in Progress comes to mind.

I logged in yesterday to try the damage and fix trick and lo-and-behold, I didn't have to!


Apparently the problem fixed itself over night (server probably rebooted).

I've had this problem (since the 11.3 patch, as well, just two days ago). I used the conduit repair workarounds described on the Pilot forum and I tried dueling somebody and getting damaged again, with no luck.

I wanted to decorate my Decimator, but knowing this is going to happen keeps me from going to the trouble. If I'm just going to have to empty the ship out again and re-deed it every time we get hit badly...
