Ya, imperial pilots get their helmet early on, but a lot of us (most non-human species) are not able to wear it EVER!

Well, they would certainly cost more than a tacky plastic helmet with an orange visor.

Yeah, we get helmets, just not the Rebel trooper helmets. And only Zabraks and humans can wear them... no one else

I saw a thread about this in beta, they origionally planed on making it a master reward. Then they realized that they couldn't do this because not all PC species can wear it (bitching wookies). Anyways, TH mentioned they would be added to the drop table in the look revamp.

So how many pilots do you know that fly without a helmet? Its called EQUITMENT...not loot or reward.

Its Called EQUITMENT, you jackass. If you dont have it you dont fly. Uh...communications, life support? Even that porker Jett Porkins got his fat head into one of those helemets and was a lame enough pilot not to know to pull up.

Actually, not to nit pick or anything, but it's called EQUIPMENT.
And personally, I'd much prefer a helmet with a translucent eye shield (like the Chiton armor has, so clearly the engine can do it) and an open mouth area. You know, like in ALL of the movies. That being said, I wear my helmet whenever I am not fighting on the ground.

I wish they would give us Rebels our flight helmet, the imperials get their helmets and flight suit in the first tier. We get the flight suit only, which is craftable. it would be different if the flight suit we got had a rebel symbol on it or something to seperate it from craftable ones, like the imperial filght suit has. If we cant get the flight helmet give us a chest module that we can wear with our flight suit that takes up the necklace or vest location, I have seen many in beta and in live wearing armor peiceswith their flight suits. I would rather walk around with out a helmet if we could get a chest module to wear with our flight suit so it looks more like the movies.
