Hmmmm weird:
The first time I tried it there was someone within 200m of me didn't notice him but took out all tier 4's within a 200-300m radius
Wups My bad
Second time I did it to try to get rid of a gunboat (thinking it was strong enough to take it out) I pulled one with a groupmate within 500m but farther then 200m......... Nothing happened besides i lost my shields and guns but the gunboat only got 50% off shields and armor and a 3% off systems!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so all it could do to it was remove shields and armor and leave the gunboat with 97% systems?
- I say INCREASE power
- Make it NOT able to hurt NON-GROUP
- Toss the drain on shields
Wups forgot to mention that the first time I took out that guy but you probably knew or suggested that was what happened to the "Wups MY bad" thing i put
And also that i dont think the gunboat was at top shape when i hit ep3 so meaning it did even less then 50% + 3% to systems

How can someone kill you if you're not overt? For someone to even be able to damage you, you have to declare or go to deepspace....

Nope. Not with epulse.

I don't suppose people who've had this happen to them repeatedly would be able to get some of their condition restored. Granted it would be hard to figure out how much someone has lost to it and whether or not it was accidental or someone grieving, it would suck if some PA decided to rotate and epulse people trying to land or respawn.

Speaking as a master pilot, it would be nice if epulse 3 was disabled near space stations in a radius. that would prevent the grief. When i was a tier 3 pilot, i WONDERED why i just blew up at the naboo station...
I hope that blast was a mistake and not some idiott getting a blast of keyboard courage.
Some other suggested solutions:
I like the fact you cant trigger a epulse unless there is a viable enemy target nearby. Good move, but if an enemy ship is nearby...
Lessening the charge of friendies damage. friendly wont blow up, but maybe discharge all systems. Shields and capacitor drained, and perhaps engine stoped at 0. Much better than just blowing up and taking all systems damage. Still exploitable if the friendly ship is in a fight, but hopefuly, the enemy ships will either be destroyed or in worse off shape. At least the frienly ship can recover in time. And in space stations, you problem as you should be protected enough to recharge everything in due time.
