Thread: Droids
Is their a reason Droids cant be silced?
It seams to me if its a machine it should be sliceable..
This is kindof a newb question, but I have yet to figure out droids. I have heard of several different kinds of droids.....what types are there and what do they do, and who can get one?.....And oh yeah, should I bother? Are they available to all classes, or just to some, and supposing I wanted to get one, how much might I expect to pay?
Thanks

Hey all,
I am a droid engineer on Scylla, Naboo and I was wondering what you felt was a fair price to charge for droids for your profession.
Thanks,

I just bought my first droid...a probot i guess it is called. Combat droid. Well i had no clue to what types of droids there was and what they do. I just seen someone with a huge hovering droid and i asked if he was selling one. He explained what the droid could do for me. I am a marksman and i wanted something to protect me if the "action" got too close..hand to hand combat. I usually kill things with one or two shots. Anyway there should bea place in the game where players like myself can see or read what types of droids there are and what they are for. I had no idea until yesterday when i bought my first droid.

Can someone please post a list of all the droids available right now and there uses. Also whichone is the bestto use forattacking. Thanks
The best (any pretty well only) droid for attacking is the Probot. You get to create it in the third droid engineering blueprint skill
droids... droids have difference capabilities... medical, combat, and crafting station built into it. You can tell (after you "tame it") you can goto data pad and it will tell you what "module" it was installed.
Medical = allow you to use /tendwound and medpack anywhere
station = allow you to craft advance items without having to be near a crafting station.
