i doubt anything is getting nerfed, the new ships are fun to fly and have appropriate mass/turns. the solution is clearly make the old ships fun as well.
Go do Nym's Starmap quest and get the level 8 engine he gives you. Then get it RE'd with some decent drops, and you'll see just how rediculous the manueverability of the new ROTW fighters is. Its not like the old fighters were junk before the JSF and Grevious fighters came along. I never once heard any experienced players complain that the A-wing and TIE Advanced were too sluggish or not manueverably enough. If anything, the A-wing and TIE Advanced were already pushing the limits of what the client can handle. The new ROTW ships when equipped with high end components have insane performance. They turn so sharp that when dogfightingagainst one, the target-lead recticle is more than a full screen length ahead. The smaller and more manueverable a ship is, the more severely it will begin to "rubberband" on other players screens as lag goes up. And the more a ship begins to "rubberband" on other player's screens, the more it becomes a matter of luck and not skill in being able to shoot it. In other words, the new ROTW ships have dumbed the game down. They are allowing players with junk engines and no droid programs to get close to the upper limit of what the client can handle. While in turn the players who havegood engines and run droid programs are pushing thier ships beyond what the client can adequately handle. The new ROTW ships could have their PYR stats drastically reduced and they would still be zippy and fun to fly, as long as the pilot actually took the effort to put in a decent engine and run some droid programs. I know everyone hates the word "nerf", but sometimes its what has to be done for the good of the game.

The "Ghreg's are weak" bug is being looked at, but no ETA on a fix was given.
LOL that's not a bug, thats a simple fact that they are driving dunelizards... and dunelizards are easy as hell to hit! Make them fly awings or tie aggressors! then you'll have a challenge!

I am confused with the use of the word nerf, I thought most space related things were fine? Nerf is an ugly word, when it is pulled out and put into action it usually messes up many more things than it helps. Can anyone recall any good and healthy nerf that didnt mess up many other things?

No one can recall one because it's never happened.
