Man it is soo nice being a Rebel... you have no idea how handy /Vrepair is especaly if you get taged by a gunboat and need to limp to deep space...

And you Imperial pilots make fun of us for not having good specals... I can buy repairs (75%) and missiles in space... and the shield adjusting programs are suprisingly usefull in PvE, would be for PvP but the ones that could save your bacon take to long to reset and leave you rather exposed.

i agreee with /vrepair...but iv never seen an imp make fun rebels for not having good specials

Oh, we do. All the time, in fact. And VRepair doesn't really help your cause. I mean, you have a special ability that depends on and prepares for you getting your butt handed to you. You won't see an Imperial going into battle prepared to lose, that's for sure.

I'm rather fond of the "think about what you're doing before you do it" path. Did it not even cross your mind that the space station might not like you blowing up their mercenary transports?

That is a great point, but in the 2yrs of playing this game I've never had anything so much as a "consequence for my actions" to deal with. I'm now in the same boat, no biggee I'll get out. But since I've never had to think about what I was doing, it never occured to me. But I'd love to see the devs do more of this sorta thing instead of just handing the easy way out to everything.

May want to do the Kashyyyk space station missions sometime. Then they will repair you. Worth the time it takes.

Hunting the mercenary frieghters by the space station. Got too close...eject from ship. Kashyyyk space station *WILL NOT REPAIR* any of ship. Instead they give me crap about blowing them up. Suggest I land..then they will fix the ship. So I land.

Go to launch ship. Uh-uh...engine is disabled.

Hmm...travel. Ooops...no engine.

Buy a ticket and shuttle home...get other ship. Ooops...no shuttle service.

Call for help. Fiance' doesn't have wookie expansion...

Oh Fudge! I'm marooned on Kashyyyk!!!

/edit to fix spelling and continue saga...

You know what answer you will get? Every pilot should have repair kits with them with every Master Artisan can build.

Hehe,
Yeah I actually think it's great that you cannot shuttle to/from Kashyyyk.

I wish they could make a few other places like that, though I see why they wouldn't.

It's a shame that such a regular Star Wars Type moment isn't enjoyed by the majority of the player-base:
"Stuck on a planet and need to find a Pilot WITH a ship in order to get off of that planet"

To me, giving everyone that starts their piloting careers a free ship with Hyperspace Capabilities kind of took some fun out of the whole JTL experience (I know... it wasn't very long after they'd begin Pilot training that they'd get a better ship with Hyperspace... so that change wasn't all that huge, but I felt it was unnecesary).

Piloting younger players across the galaxy, instead of them using the shuttles, was a great element of fun.

These days... I've got a fully decorated Nova Cruiser that I jump at any chance for new people to come up and hitch a ride.

Maybe I'll hang out in Kashyyyk Starport and wait for marooned pilots, hehe.

Also, we had some fun when a crew-member of my ship was continuously disconnected from the game the other night.
Hehe, She appeared back on Kashyyyk and had NO way home, as I flew her there to begin with.
Hehehe, we only teased her a bit in guild chat

(For those that do not know... if you logout or use the escape pod while in a MOB Ship, you will return to the last planet that you launched from)

May the force be with you.

That's kinda what's bugging me about no space zone to Mustafa. The Devs are trying to tell us we CAN shuttle toa Jedi ridden hell world, but not the homeworld of a major species?

Actually, I don't get a population at all. There were no indiginous life forms. Just lots of lava and a research station. I'm kinda wondering how you justify a shuttle link at *all*. Sounds like a jedi playground so far. Nothing really to hunt. Though I hope we can place harvs on it - probably not since the stratics chat indicates its instanced and has blocked paths similar to kashyyk.

I see in your sig that you're a smuggler... Didn't you try getting smuggled away from Kashyyyk? Some time ago, someone was in the same situation as the one you experienced, he was asking people at starport if someone could take him to a more civilized planet. I went to my home planet to get my multipassenger ship, and took him off the Wookiee world.

I think this kind of interaction is fun. People helping each other to get out of trouble. This is Star Wars.

also, consider keeping a few all-purpose ship repair kits in your inventory/backpack/astromech. they are not all that expensive, and can save the day. i keep a crate of 'em with me, and occasionally fly one out to a stranded guildie.

no, wait, i saw this game... "pong" i think it was called. it was really easy to understand! maybe you could make swg more like pong! think of it! fast paced action! iconic characters! MORE FUN!
