If you mastered rebel pilot before, you do get the X 1 bonus.

But remastering rebel pilot in a different squadron will not earn you the X2 bonus modifer, and if you should ever change professions again you will still have a X 1 bonus modifer. Multiple mastery within the same faction doesnt count in gaining a higher bonus modifer.


Well, that sucks.
I wanted to be the ultimate Rebel pilot and ace all three squadrons. Don't really have any interest in becoming a privateer...
