And you point is? SWG doesn't need to be saved, it just needs to ban all youdweebs who think you should be on the SOE payroll. It's a game, you know? If you aren't having any fun playing it then DON'T PLAY IT! End of story.

JtL added a new dimension to an already fun game. There is no "saving" required. Improvement, yes, but all games need that. One of the things that sets SWG apart from other games and other MMORPGs is that it is constantly changing (sometimes for the worse, but usually for the better). I don't know about the rest of you, but that's one of the reasons why I play it almost exclusively.

I've had 4 years of Ultima Online as a comparison, and there is no comparison. I've ordered a new motherboard, CPU and GB of RAM, and if I log on to Ultima Online and it STILL lagsto H377 (I'm talking 1FPS blues here) even with my Geforce6 video card, I'll be exclusive to SWG too. If you fault SWG with anything, you CANNOT fault it for its graphics. If you want to talk about saving anything, go play Ultima Online and I'll be shouting right there with ya. If you want to talk about developers breaking stuff as fast as they fix stuff, or faster, go play Ultima Online and I'll be talking right there with ya. And they've had 7+ years to get their act together. Enough with the SWG bashing, it's time those of us who enjoy the game start making ourselves heard.

To be honest, if it wasnt for JTL, i woudlnt be playing SWG at all.

SWG on the ground, isn't anythign new or fresh that i havent already done in another MMO.

SWG on the ground is quite simply, another standard vanilla MMO in my opinion. But then, ive played alot of MMO's so im a rather jaded player.

Darth....you got a five star from me because I really could not have said it any better myself. It is refreshing to know that there are some people out there that actually "get it"

And for the hole game SWG, ots too many servers to play on, making the population on the servers too small. And a bether global/galactic chat is needed, as it is now, the only way to try to find some help, is barking in Coronet.
But foremoust, GET RID OF ALL THE AFK ppl barking at space ports!!!!!!! A game dominated by AFK and macros/bots is a dead game, period.

Servers, I agree with the to many servers part. I play on Chilastra and can't switch server (FS) and Chilastra has gotta be the smallest population i've seen. I personally think they should merge the smallest servers together to bring up the online player count.

Macros, I only about 50% agree. barkers arn't gonna kill the game. Heck i've gotten some great deals from ppl barking in cnet. As for afk dancers/musicians their a great thing IMO. If an ent wants to buff for tips let them. I know I don't wanna go to a cantina and yell about trying to find a mind buff. Now as for the ppl standing outside cnet in full comp armor killing ragtag loons with a flamer while afk is not needed.

Just yesterday I saw someone dead (armor must have died) wearing full comp armor and a DXR-6b. Being as nice as I am I messaged him saying if he gave me consent I would revive him, no reply. I then went back to my buissness of going in search of a vendor. On my way back to cnet he was still lieing there dead as a door nail.

Crafting macros are nice, not needed but nice. Point is some macros arn't needed and are kinda worthless but some can be very nice and very helpful.

Boybug;

You hit it right on the nose. SWG/JTL is a game, a diversion, a way to kill some time while you wait for the rest of your life to begin. It's a game, and a darn fine one if you ask me. Enjoy what it has and forget the "stuff" that it doesn't have. My 2 credits

Stealth, maybe you haven't heard this, but they're removing the ability to loop macros from the game in (I believe) the next patch.

No I heard and it makes me sad . No more free buffs, no more help with crafting, no more using a macro so you can take a leak while grinding musician. . Truely a sad day.
