Thread: Just wondering...
I recently got Novice Creature Handler. I tamed two pets, a dalyrake, and a domesticated tusk cat.
The problem is, whenever I order it to attack, during combat it will run back to me. Sometimes, it will never even attack with out comming back to me. Is this because I am a novice, is it a bug, or is this supposd to happen?
Note: All this time I am doing Rebel destroy missions.
Aye... I had a baby gronda for a while, but I let it go... what use is a tank with 50% absorb if it runs away and doesn't take any hits, eh?
Thus I'm looking for a grand wrix to go with my razor cat...
- your low level pets will have a fairly low ferocity, so they aren't as brave as you might like them to be
- your pets will run back to you saying "Hungry" or "Play" whenever they have wounds, so if you don't (or can't) heal those wounds you'll see them running back to you a fair bit
You can get rid of these messages by feeding your pet (from the radial menu, any food you can eat will be eaten by your pet) and having them perform Trick1 (once you get Empathy I) respectively.
I guess the answer to your question is that it isn't a bug, it's part of the game mechanics...

Max
Duratk,
Read my guide to novice scouting - it's stickied to the top of the forum.
Everything you need to know to get started is in there.

Duratk,
There are thousands of players with Scouting under their belts. Drop by a Cantina, Med center or shuttleport, and I can guarantee you you'll find a player willing to train you for significantly less than 1000 credits - probably for free.
You just have to ask. ![]()
