Are you sure about that? I am almost certain I could only fit 4 overload 3's in my level 4 astromech (had to leave out weapon overload). Certainly didn't have room for an overload 4 until I got my level 5 astromech.
As for missiles - I say don't bother with them except maybe for the vette. They are not very useful against fighters, against the vette you can use them without having line of sight on your target so they can be a big help there as you can sit in the blind spot and take it out at your leisure.
Also, I'd only bother with level 2 armour at most (you can even ditch armour altogether) - get yourself the strongest shield you can afford and fit in the ship, if your shield goes down you're pretty much going to have to retreat and repair even if you survive long enough to get away. Armour should always be the last thing you think about and never sacrifice mass you can use elsewhere for it.



A v4 droid has a capacity of 110. Level 3 droid programs take up 20. Level 4 programs take up 25. 20+20+20+20+25=105. Yes, they fit. See A Comprehensive Droid Routine Breakdown.
