I must have bad luck with my loot drops. All of the Cert 4 loot that I have received has been absolute garbage. Most of the parts seem to have stats the same as a Cert 2 part, but with a huge increase in mass. I was begining to wonder if there was any good Cert 4 loot.

Just destroy the crappy loot while killing in space, keep only +lvl8 comp for RE.
Never sell a lvl 10 component, keep it for RE.
PvE Grinders should't be allowed in space.

No one knows why this happens. Right now the best alternative is to sell them for 6k on the bazaar or save them if the stats are good.

i interpreted that as "please find a shipwright and dont waste them on npcs" or "you will need a ton of those for reverse engineering so dont waste them". im more frustrated with the item limit of containers and houses. if you save all decent components for reverse engineering once you have enough of them you should probably go and buy yourself a second house for them ,-)

I made my first trip into Kessel tonight and looted some level 10parts. i tried to sell them to a chasisdealer, but he only offered me 500 credits. Is this supposed to happen? Did I miss something?

I'm trying to get some Level 10 loot so I can have RE'd weapons with the particle effect of my choice, does ne 1 know the best place to get Level 10 loot?

ive got alot of level 10 loot in endor killing blacklights and pirates, also kessel is reasonable but the ships there drop loot less frequently.

tier4 or 5 ships have the best chance at higher level loot. Beyond that, there is no specific ratio for ships of different types/factions/groups, except for the Rebel Imperial thing.

Thanks for the info guys! Oh, and do u know what the asteroid chunks r used for? I have a glowing one and a strange one and I need some info about them b4 I put them to auction.

The asteroid chunks are used for the special paint kits that were introduced with RotW. The special rebel paint kits, special ARC paint kits, and such.
