The chassis broker is only paying 500cr for level 10 loot. I accidently sold one at 500cr before I realized it was one of my level 10 pieces.

I almost made the same mistake yesterday! I caught myself at the last moment! I have decided not to use the broker for selling parts! I can ill afford to lose the few rare lvl 10 parts that I loot! Some of them will come in handy!

That interface is horrible. Why couldn't they implement it like the junk dealers and let you drag parts onto the dealer? They could even improve it by having a confirmation popup with the name of the part.

What I Do:

  1. Go into space and kill like mad.

  2. Land and go directly to my Large House.

  3. Sort my loot into containers by RE level 4 through 10., and a separate container for "Scrap".

  4. When going for RE, bring Cert 1 & 2 items for RE to help my MSW, and bring only items needing RE otherwise.

  5. When going to Chassis Dealer with "a load" of parts for sale, bring only parts I want to sell.

Can't do anything by accident that way...

I don't understand why you're selling cert4 & 5 parts anyway.

MANY of the Cert4 and 5 parts demonstrate superior performance for very little mass.

As an example, I have looted a cert 4 re 4 capacitor with a recharge of 42.1 before Reverse Engineering.
Finding complimentary parts to RE it with was easy since I have ~ 7 of them stocked in my bags.

Of course, I have 241 items in my large house... *sigh* .... time to make a few trips...

1st_Viduus - Some of us are LAZY and want to sell our stuff right from the Starport. I generally pre-sort my loot while flying back to the station to dock.

Just destroy the crappy loot while killing in space, keep only +lvl8 comp for RE.

Never sell a lvl 10 component, keep it for RE.

PvE Grinders should't be allowed in space.

I respect your right to state your opinion, but why do you believe that PvP'ers are the only ones who should have access to the space content? (for the record, I PvP in space all the time, and currently am 57-2 in dogfights, simply want to know your reasoning behind this statement)

Because vnicula is one of those elitists who believes the game exists to satisfy his egotistical needs and serves no other purpose.

He is on record repeatedly blaming those who got griefed in Kessel for the PvP nerf rather than blaming the load-killers who actually caused the situation and forced a developer reaction in the first place.

I'm inclined to believe that such players are:

A) Operating with a severely limited mental capacity

Or

B) One of the griefing morons responsible for the nerf who refuse to take responsibility for thier own reprehensible actions.

You decide.

The reasons for asking JTL perma-overt for factioned players are simple:

1) Its a twitch game. Therefore should implement a ranking system.

2) Look at the picture diplayed on the upper right side of this page. I suspect its not PvE but full PC rebel squadron kicking some n00b imp a$$es.

3) We all know what happened with the ground game. We don't want the same thing with a different background.

4) The only never ending content in any game is PvP.

5) Any real role player want to participate in StarWars not GrindWars.

6) If you PvP, you know you cannot compare a fightagainsta PC with shooting space monkeys. We prefer and seek fun rather than carpal tunnel.

7) Any good game has challenge for any type of player. We don't feel challenged in current system, its too easy to get Ace.

8) You cannot be bored while PvP. You are bored without it.

9) Where is the thrill without PvP? You can always redo the same thing and win.

10) GCW should start in space. It's the last chance.

I can give you more but I feel its useless.

Peace.

Grow up, man. I'm sure it's a lot of fun to pick on people who have inferior equipment and don't want to fight you, but it's not very much fun for your victims.

Thank you for your opinion, and you're welcome to it. I disagree on most of your points, but that's what makes this kind of game so nice to play, the wide variety of playstyles/opinions/characters.

The one point I feel I must make is that I DO get bored with PvP. I played XvT competively (for money, on a team)in the past, and there is only a limited amount of satisfaction in killing players over and over (and occaisionally dying). The reason I do practice PvP at all is to enhance my skills and keep myself sharp. Do I do it all the time? No. But it's a fun diversion from other things that are going on.

Good luck...and if you want a challenge, come on over to Corbantis and get an Ace Pilot character...always fun to face someone new.

Yeah, pretty good game wasn't it? Which team you were in?

Actually I'm trying to identify a good server for space PvP, I have too Aces now, one on Chilastra, the other one on Europe-Infinity. I'm considering Corbantis, just giving myself some time to decide.

By the way, if you DO get bored killing people over and over without being killed yourself, you can always grab some duty missions or some quenker missions and have a lot of fun with PvE.

Peace.
