I leveled on dathomir... Purbole Stalkers for late brawler/early swordsman. When they started to drop off, switched to gaping spiders. They gave me 4180 xp a piece all the way to master, and each lair spawned 8-10 spiders.
The gaping spider missions are worth 6400-6500 credits, so that's what you need to look for.

First thing to know, if you don't already, is that pilot skill training does not work like the ground game. When you get the novice box you must do a set of missions for your first trainer, he will then train you in box for free. Before you do those missions it doesn't matter if you have 10 million xp no training. After you get that first box it is an xp gring until you have all the first boxes trained, then you can start on the second row. In the first few tiers I think that the duty mission you will be offered will give you the most xp/hour. They cause endless waves of fighters to spawn, you kill them all and you get another wp to a new set. I think this works better than hunting for random spawns since it is a constant flow. Once you are through the second tier all of the tier 3 boxes are free training after completing a mission (for each one that is), then it is xp grind through tier 4. Two missions for master and you are an ace

Im a finished template jedi so this doesnt effect me but, why dont you guys try grinding with only 1 person with you.... you will get 3k a kill. If you solo something you will get 6k a kill. So if you need help soloing something you group member can help you out. Like I said I finished my template already so i dont know how hard it is to grind now.

Jedi dont get 6k a kill... we got 1k a kill so we would get 500 with a partner.

If you read that post it clearly states you only get 1k a kill while solo.

With one person in my group hunting lvl 80+ level Bols I was getting 421 xp per kill and about on average 4000 to 4500xp per mission.
I dont disagree with lowering the amount of XP we were getting while in groups, but if you run the numbers out you are looking at years of grinding to go from paddy to full template if you play 4 hours a day 7 days a week. Im sorry but that is just completely ridiculous. Several months to complete the template is one thing, several years is in a completely different ball park.Bottom line, SOE F'd it up good and went way overboard yet again

I am a full template and i do indeed get close to 6k xp for a level 80+ kill that i solo. We all know jedi used to get a little over 1k but that is no longer true. Ignore this post post lol i just realised i indeed didnt get the xp the xp it showed.
