Thread: Jedi Starfighter question

to fly the ship you have to complete the quest but any space faction that has completed it can fly it
I've got a question then... I'm currently a Rebel both in ground and in space (Colonel on the ground, ace pilot in space). If I wanted to do the quest, would I just have to drop the Rebellion on the ground and I could take up Imperial, or would I have to drop my piloting profession as well?

You can buy a deed, but you will be ripped off, as you can not generate or fly the ship itself unless you personally did the quest to get it.

Well..., that royally sucks....
what was said is true.
two things....you can drop pilot and go imp long enough to get the deed. (you don't have to complete the quest...Vader givers you the ship to go do the harder part. Ending there allows you to use the deed.) You can roleplay this as going undercover to steal the ship if that is of interest to you. Regrinding pilot is no biggie. Before you switch over, load up a heavy Z95 chassis with the best parts you can use. When you are a novice pilot, you will be able to use the Z with its uber load. I used mine all the way to 4444. Also you get double xp for all your kills as a former'master pilot' bonus. So....it really doesn't take that long.
or....just get a necrosis ship deed. they are the same 90k chassis, and have the same handling. some say the JSF is a wee bit smaller (and therefore harder to hit in pvp) but i'm not sure it is that big a difference.
hope this helps.
