Use a Weapon, Droid and General item tool near a crafting station. You'll have the options to experiment (worthless) and to create a manufacturing schematic.
Remember, the schematic will require the materials that you use to make it, so have plenty on hand.

You need a Weapon, Droid and General Item Crafting Tool. Then stand in front of a Weapon, Droid and General Item Crafting Station (there are public ones in many cities, but you can also buy one for your house). Craft your Clamps and/or Knives, and during the crafting process you will be a given an option to make a Prototype or make a Schematic. Choose to make a Schematic, then choose how many items you want the scematic to make.
Then just use it in the factory

both depend on the server your on. I 've seen them go for 20k, up to 100k........

Actually I'm lacking some extrusive ore right now... But I can steal some from my friend and make you a probot... (I don't usually do this but I would advise you to look up some other Chilastra DE like Iree or Saleena. Cause I recently got back into DE, dropped it for some hologrind. therefore I'm not sure I have all the combat-modules and such to make it soon enough).
However I can take a look at it and send you a mail in-game if I get your ingame name.

I'm a DE on chilastra too. My full combat probots are 3200 HAM and 549 out of a possible 550 combat. My main vendor is just north of Tyrena on Corellia - in Bela Vortice. They are priced at 55k.

Yeah I am selling my for around 28k the HAM is 2900 and the Combat is 590. So they are not the beefest but they can hold their own in a fight. I think the going rate is about 1k for every point of armor. But I have seen people selling them for alot more on Eclipse.

I'm on Ahazi. I don't keep fighting probots on my vendor anymore (probots with nothing but combat modules, that is). They don't sell, and customers who do buy them tend to come back later and complain that they get killed too easily. I keep TANKS (probots with nothing but autorepair) on my vendorinstead. At least they will stay in a fight for a while. But I'll makethe fightersfor special orders if someone asks for one. My price is 25k for a probot regardless of what I put in it. At that price, my tanks sell about one a day...
