Nope. I've been looking too. Nothing official yet. You can look at the patch notes for test center, but there's not much in there, either, and none of the patches its gotten have been labeled "Pub 19".

It's a loot component used to make Assault Armor.

Most looted cores have lower stats than ones made by a decent Armorsmith, but somecan bepretty usefull.

You won't be able to get much money for them since they are so abundant, but if you need Assault Armor made, and you're kinda broke, it will probablymakeso-so armor.

I'm not really sure where i should be asking this but maybe somebody here knows...

Today i went to call my varactyl and it said "You have no chance of controlling this creature. See pet trade in... yadda yadda yadda". Now my varactyl is lvl 10 and i checked to make sure no other pet was out and there is no other pet out. But if there was i think it would say that i have the maxium amount of pets out.

I'm not sure if anybody knows what i could do. But any advice would be helpful....

First question, are you a CH?

If not, then ask do I have a droid out? a faction pet?

If you are a CH then I'm as clueless as you are. Good luck!

No i am not a CH. But i thought we could control level 10 pets right?

I had nothing out... No droids no faction pets... Though when i tried to call a droid it says yo have the maxium number of pets of this kind out. Even tho i have no pets out...

go with the 0004 tree. the buffs aren't all powerful, but they can really help you with HAM regen.

I would suggest opening a ticket, CL10 should be usable by all professions asa mounted pet. It might be related to the hotfixes recently, I don't know...just go ahead and open a ticket for it, the least that they can do is look into it and tell you what the problem is.

I'm going to master carbines and combat medic and I wanted advice on the remaining skill points. I could put the rest of the points into mastering marksman for the speed and accuracy benefits or I could pick up novice doc(for the heal wounds)and one branch of that tree. If I did do the doc angle which branch? Are the buffs any good? Thanks.

I just went to go and get my first set of armour since the CU and was amazed to find that a single piece of armour costs between 100,000 to 150,000 credits.

I then thought why would I want to spend that much money on armour when I don't PvP and I do fine in PvE without armour. So I then asked an Armoursmith why prices were so high and he said that since the CU you guys need a lot more resources to make armour.

So from what I can gather not only did the CU make armoura lot less usefullbut it also made it more expensive. Meaning that not only do people not buy armour because they think they do not need but also people are not buying armour because the prices are now ridiculas. Is this true?

Yes, armor takes more resources than before
Yes, armor takes more sub components than before
Yes, armor takes longer to make than before
Yes armor takes more named resources than before
Yes, armor takes more organic resources than before
And yes, because of this armor is more expensive.

However it is still very useful. Of course we can no longer take away 90% of the damge that has been inflicted upon you, but it certainly still absorbs a good amount of the damage depending on the quality.
It is possible to do some PvE without armor, but you will want it for the heavier PvE attractions out there, and you will certainly want it for PvP.
I have actually found in my own experience an increase in sales of armor since the CU. This may also be due to less competition in the AS world on my server, quite a few left. But people are definitely still in the market for armor, and it is still a viable part of combat in the game.
Some good armor, a good PSG, some Good Food, a little inspiration buff, a little doctor buff, some drugs, some drink, some CAs and AAs, all these things add up to a very strong fighter. And armor is a large part of it. So give it a try, and see what you think, and come to your own conclusions for your particulair character.
