On this to say... I really really really hope that the "Firespray" assault fighter will NOT be in this game... aka, the Slave 1... first of all, the Slave 1 is a one-of-a-kind ship that only the Fett's have ever owned... especially in THIS time-period... in the game; Star Wars Bounty Hunter, they explain exactly how Jango Fett receives the ship.... or rather steals it... He takes it from a Prison in the middle of an asteroid feild, after they destroy his old ship... he steals it, and blows up the docking bay where the only other SIX of these ships were kept... I'm not saying that this Kaut (I think thats how you spell it) company couldnt make more of these ships, but as far as we kn ow, they havent! Thx for hearing me out, this looks amazing, I cant wait to shoot down those dirty rebels!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Add this to the ship list posibilities: The B-Wing. We can already aquire thier flightsuits, I had darn well better be able to fly one.


Also, the A-wing was released before the B-wing, so I'd say it's a good chance we'll have that also.


4 millioin in resources, and a few more months till it's released. I WILL BE READY!


Mon Cals have always been great ship-builders in the Star Wars universe. Ditch thier other bonuses and put them where they belong! Shipbuilding!

Like most i want the option of being able to walk around the inside of my frieghter. what the point of having one if you can check out the inside and have your friends onboard. that is one thing that should and most be added into the SE one person being able to fly the whole group to the target location, and not 20 people all getting in their own ships. Other wise if it only one person per craft then everyone will have starfighters and no frieghters.


Second question people are asking for the shuttle wait time to be reduced. where is the adv to having a ship when you can only wait 5 minutes or so and hope a shuttle to whereever. Will shuttle wait time be increased after SE? Will player be able to offer their services as space taxis? This would be great actualy contracting with people to fly them to xy vs them waiting 1 hour for the shuttle? maybe the empire will crack down even harder on space flight or tax it to pay for the cost of the war making it a cheap and easier to hire someone to fly you to planet x.


Will any one be able to attack anyone else in space. basicly is it a free for all? and when ship are destoryed can they be fixed or are you S.O.L like when your speeder get destoryed. So how will PVP in SE be handled

This is really going to push SWG over the edge of friggen amazing. I think no matter what they do, it's going to be great.


Also, in the Collectors Edition artbook, they have a pic of some SE ships, one of which being a Firespray-esce ship!


And to people that are complaining about not being able to fly anywhere and land anywhere on the planet...grow up. Honestly, if you understood anything about the limitations of some games you'd understand that they don't have the ability to do atmospheric flight in the game, its just too hard. And no matter what, you HAVE to have some kind of load time to load something, so get over it, and just enjoy the ride to the best expansion for any game ever ^_^

Twitch you say, hmm *dusts off joystick* that is great, i hope they do something fro faction ships specific to the faction, ie a you must be declared to use this craft attachment to the attributes. So when an imperial descides to fly in his tie interceptor he is in danger of rebel attack, however if the same player buys an unmarked z-95 head hunter he is ok. Same thing with the rebels. In repect to crafters, they really have no buisiness developing faction craft, unless of course they are part of that faction. Maybe a schematic reward for crafters from a new factional quest. Also i hope they follow the sw universe and give the rebel ships shields and the imps none. But in return make the ties more agile and faster. Also i hope they don't stick us with one ship, i would love to be able to own my yt1300 and an xwing for pvp.


Ways to enhance ships:


1. individual parts, ship firepower depends on ship components, ie give each profession something that they can contribute. Maybe make the weapons require blaster power handlers or some new object which can in turn if a player has enough tissue be upgraded. or maybe an enhanced shielding layer can be built by armorsmiths that give the craft extra protection. A droid engineer could build a tech robot specifically designed to repair the ship in combat, archects cna make player hangers which allow for the storage of ships in space allowing players to have more than the datapad can hold. Smugglers, can modify speed and firepower y installing smuggler built or smuggler aquired parts.


2. Systems, these can be aquired tghrough quest and used like a schematic in a factory, say you just can't seem to shake that sob on your tail so you use a radar scrambler skill that you learned from a datapad. maybe only allow a p[layer 3 skills per craft, to limit power of players.


3. Crafters and non combatants. The ability to "hire" npc protection in the form of otehr ships. This could also work for faction players, maybe allowing faction rank to play a part, such as e1-5 get 1, officers 2 major and up 3, and m,ake the things varyining skill levels.


4. VOICE SUPPORT, how hard would it be to implement a hailing system into the ships and alow voive group chat. it is a must because of the nature of the game, i don't want to get my tail blown off by the guy im trying to get off me becuase i had to type four letters to my wingmate.


5. Jedi shuold have some ability to use the force in space, maybe in the form of a counter measure or enhanced targeting, (luke and teh torpedo anyone)


6. Capitol ships mannable by players, im not talking the big ones but maybe ones like a corvette or dreadnought, there aren't enough players on any server to man an imperial stardestroyer

If it hasnt been said allready... WHERE ARE THE A and B Wings!! Screw X and Y we want to fly the A-Wing and the B-Wing! I'm hoping that they just took pictures that would grab the attention of the crowd when they shoved a bunch of pictures of Ties and interceptors and xwings and y wings and the falcon, and that there are really some Calimari crusiers and A-Wing's in that hangar also.

You will not be given a ship at beginning. It will be crafted by a Artisan that has the skills and recources. I think im just going to get the skill so i can make my own ship and raid imps. like an X-wing or a YT-1300 if craftable even though it was on pics. LOTS OF MISTAKES IN IT. the advanced X-Wing which is in the back in 2 of the pics isnt created til New REpublic. Its the one with only 2 wings not 4. Also they did have interceptors but TIE fighters are what you would see mroe in the battle. Though the Interceptors can be leaders. But tons of planets. I think they are adding Malastare. Cause its in one of the pics. Its a greenish bluish one.

This person has obviusly not played X-wing vs. Tie Fighter. There are still games now-a-days that cannot match that game in control and feel. If that is the route they are going, like I said they would for over a year now , then this will not only be the best expansion, but the best space flight sim around.

More then one person will be able to on a ship. Thats a fun part. But I think (not sure) if they decide to add Rebel Blockade Runners (Rebel Modified Correlian COrvette) it will come with reb npcs and will be very cool. Be ready with tons of credits though cause crafters will be unfortunatly procin stuff really high. maybe if your on Shadowfire you wont have to save millions and millions. I'm planning on becoming a ship builder and selling ships for low prices. Anyway its going to be multiple person per ship. Though it doesnt have to you can get off the planet with 1 im just saying you can have alot of people on. Not sure if theres going to be a limit proably one like only 10 players per ship. Would depend on ship.

Probably not instanced just a space dock public to all rebels. But its a D-Pad. I tink they are adding space stations like the tutorial one and also there will be ones much bigger then that one cause they only showed a tiny piece of that station. And shiops wont decay as fast as vehicles.
